Footage of a major Marvel video game scheduled for 2026 has appeared online, giving fans an early look at the gameplay. Despite some recent challenges with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Games is currently very successful, releasing a diverse range of popular titles. Games like *Marvel Rivals*, the PlayStation Spider-Man series, and the highly anticipated *Marvel’s Wolverine* demonstrate the potential for great superhero games. While we’re still eager to play titles like *Marvel’s Blade*, Marvel is consistently delivering games across various genres.
Fans are eagerly awaiting *Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra*, an upcoming game where players can control both Black Panther and Captain America. Set during World War II, the game teams these two heroes up to battle Hydra. While announced a few years ago, very little has been shown of the gameplay – only a trailer and a short cutscene. However, with a planned release date in 2026, we expect to see more gameplay footage soon.
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra Gameplay Leaks Online
MP1st recently shared some gameplay footage of *Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra*, showcasing Black Panther in action. The footage is from the developers and features a cinematic camera angle, but it gives a good look at Black Panther’s combat style, which appears to be quite impressive. It seems players will be able to use objects in the environment, like furniture, as weapons against enemies, making combat more interactive and dynamic.
MP1st points out that this video is likely from 2022 or 2023, meaning it doesn’t reflect the final version of the game. It’s probably best not to judge it too much, as the game may still be several years away from release. Still, it’s interesting to get an early look at the development process. Along with the video, some images have surfaced showing Black Panther exploring different locations and an indoor area that appears to have been damaged by gunfire.

Honestly, we’re still in the dark about when we’ll get another look at *Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra*. But there’s talk of a PlayStation State of Play happening later this month, and then The Game Awards in December. Either way, it feels like Marvel is planning a strong one-two punch, especially since *Wolverine* is still on track to come out next year. I’m hoping we get some news soon!
