Shueisha Games and TrueWorld Studios just released a new trailer for their upcoming game, UNYIELDER. The trailer highlights the game’s action-packed, first-person shooter gameplay and features a look at over 40 unique bosses players will face. UNYIELDER is a ‘roguelite’ game, meaning it combines fast-paced action with replayability and challenging boss battles.

The new trailer for *UNYIELDER* showcases the game’s exciting core gameplay: challenging one-on-one battles against over 40 different bosses. Each boss has unique attacks and fighting styles. The trailer also reveals the five playable characters and their special abilities, plus the innovative Boss Crafting system, which lets players create powerful custom bosses based on fights they’ve already had.
Over 40 Bosses Across Four Archetypes
UNYIELDER plunges players into fast-paced, one-on-one arena battles against a huge roster of over 40 unique bosses. Each fight tests your skills and ability to survive. You’ll face enemies from four different dangerous types:
- Minor Bosses – Early-game encounters with more accessible attack patterns.
- Major Bosses – Highly difficult mid-bosses that drop Data Drives for crafting.
- Special Bosses – Secret bosses that emerge only when specific conditions are met.
- Legendary Bosses – Custom-crafted end bosses with three variations, based on player decisions.
Five Unique Characters to Unlock
Players begin with a single character, but can unlock four more heroes as they play. Each hero has a distinct way of moving, their own set of gear, and special abilities. Choosing a different character lets you try out new strategies with each playthrough!
- Pretender: Gatling – A well-rounded mid-range fighter.
- Pretender: Thumper – A tank with high HP, shield strength and aerial mobility.
- Skinner – A high-risk melee fighter who gains buffs from successful dodges.
- Rali – A charge-based powerhouse that deals massive burst damage.
- Rain – A close-combat guardian who parries and counters with precision timing.
Craft Your Legendary Boss Challenge
As you beat Major Bosses, you’ll collect Data Drives. These are used in the Legendary Arena, a challenging area for late-game players, where you can create your own custom final boss. Try out different combinations of Data Drives to summon new bosses – and discover rare combinations that unlock special versions, giving you endless replayability in the endgame!
UNYIELDER is due out for PC via Steam on September 29.
