2027 promises to be a massive year for superhero films. Marvel will conclude its Multiverse Saga with *Avengers: Secret Wars*, a movie expected to feature a huge battle bringing together all corners of the Marvel Universe, just like the comic book version. Another big event will be *Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse*, which will almost certainly see all the Spider-People uniting against a major threat. However, not every film will be an all-out war; *The Batman Part II* is aiming for a more grounded and subtle approach.

Matt Reeves’ upcoming Batman movie has been kept under wraps for a while because he spent a lot of time perfecting the script. Now that it’s finished, he’s finally sharing details about the story. Here are six new things we know about *The Batman Part II* after a long wait.

Though the Penguin tries to secure a future for Sofia, the director, Matt Reeves, doesn’t plan to include her in *The Batman Part II*. So, her fate depends on whether the show gets renewed for another season.

Because it’s been a while since the last movie, the internet has been full of rumors about who will appear in *The Batman Part II*. A lot of speculation focused on Robin, Batman’s sidekick.
