Nintendo recently announced that the *Super Mario Galaxy* games are coming to Nintendo Switch, and they’ve now shared a new trailer giving a complete look at what to expect. The trailer is a great introduction for anyone new to the series, explaining how each game works and what makes it special.
Longtime fans will also be happy to know that new Storybook chapters have been added to both games. The first game’s chapter appears to reveal the backstory of Rosalina and Luma, while the sequel’s new chapter centers around two Lumas who bear a striking resemblance to a famous pair of siblings.
There’s also Assist Mode to make the games more accessible. It lets Mario withstand more damage and bounce back when he falls, which simplifies the platforming. Plus, Switch 2 owners will get a free update to enjoy the games in enhanced 4K resolution.
Get ready to explore the galaxies! *Super Mario Galaxy* and *Super Mario Galaxy 2* are coming to Nintendo Switch on October 2nd. We’ll share more information soon, so keep an eye out!
