I’ve been looking forward to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on PS5 more than any other Xbox game that’s come to the platform.
This game was initially expected to come to Sony’s platform, but a difficult launch on another system last year caused delays while the developers, Asobo Studio, fixed some issues.
According to the Polish website PPE, an announcement is expected soon, potentially in November. This timing would coincide with the game’s one-year anniversary, and it’s likely the developers have planned updates to celebrate.
The website says physical copies will be available, but considering this is a Microsoft game, the number printed will likely be limited. Because the game relies on frequent updates and large data packs, it’s also possible they’ll use a Game Key Disc format.
I’ve been really excited about this game for a while now – as someone who loves simulator games, it’s been on my radar for ages! If the rumors are true and it finally comes to PS5, I’m going to be over the moon.
