Jodie Whittaker and Suranne Jones’s thrilling new heist drama has release date confirmed – and it’s soon

Jodie Whittaker and Suranne Jones are starring in a new ITV heist drama called Frauds, and we now have the premiere date.

All six episodes will be available to stream on ITVX starting Sunday, October 5th. The first episode will also air on ITV1 at 9pm that same night, with new episodes continuing on ITV1 every Sunday and Monday for the next three weeks.

The new series, created by Jones and Anne-Marie O’Connor, features Jones as Bert, a recently released prisoner who convinces her friend Sam (played by Whittaker) to join her in an audacious attempt to steal priceless artwork.

Bert and Sam are planning a daring art heist and assemble a crew of skilled misfits to pull it off.

The team faces many obstacles in planning the heist, but the biggest threat to their success – and to both Bert and Sam – is the conflict between them.

Frauds unfolds in the beautiful but dangerous landscape of southern Spain, where sun-drenched coasts hide a world of crime. It’s a gripping tale about the bonds of friendship, the consequences of lies, and the fight to stay alive.

The series also stars Elizabeth Berrington, Christian Cooke, Karan Gill and Talisa García.

Most recently, Jones starred in the Netflix thriller *Hostage*, and she’s also set to appear in the upcoming romantic comedy-drama *Film Club* alongside Aimee Lou Wood.

Earlier this year, Jodie Whittaker appeared in the show Toxic Town and also made a guest appearance in Ncuti Gatwa’s last episode as the Doctor.

You can now watch her thriller series, One Night, on ITV, and she’ll soon appear in the BBC’s adaptation of the popular play, Dear England.
