Annapurna Interactive is partnering with Iridium Studios to publish the music-focused role-playing game, People of Note.
The game, scheduled for release in 2026, stars pop singer Cadence as she discovers that pursuing a solo career might not be the key to becoming a star.
She’ll definitely assemble a band with a diverse group of musicians, and each one will add their unique style to her performances.
Also, this game is a role-playing game, and the musical numbers aren’t just for show – they actually drive the turn-based combat system.

The blurb reveals:
People of Note offers a unique turn-based battle system. Instead of just selecting moves, each fight feels like a dynamic musical performance where the conditions change, attacks need to be timed to the rhythm, and you can even combine different music genres for powerful attacks!
Like we discussed, the game will feature a mechanic similar to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, where well-timed attacks deal extra damage.
Besides the fighting, I’m really excited to explore the city of Note! From what I’ve heard, it’s full of cool environmental puzzles that I’ll need to solve as I wander around.
Don’t worry if some of the gameplay features don’t sound interesting – you can easily turn off anything you don’t enjoy, making the game exactly how you like it.
You can check out a trailer above for a taste of what to expect.
