DWTS’ Robert Irwin Reveals What He’s Looking For in a Girlfriend

There are plenty of fish in the sea, but Robert Irwin has a few requirements for his catch.

While competing on season 34 of *Dancing With the Stars*, the popular Australian actor revealed he’s still single and shared what he’s looking for in a future long-term partner – someone he can even share the dance floor with!

Honestly, after seeing the latest episode, what I really hope for him is someone truly kind. He said himself that being around genuinely kind people is *so* important to him, and I couldn’t agree more! That’s what he deserves most in a partner.

Of course, Robert is also hoping for someone who can match his energy.

He described his life as fast-paced and exciting, saying he’s eager to share those experiences – both the big adventures and small, everyday moments – with a partner. He admires couples he sees and hopes to find a similar connection for himself.

Still, the 21-year-old isn’t going to force a connection.

He explained that finding the right person can’t be forced. It will happen when the time is right, and you need to be receptive to it. He’s confident that person is out there and is excited to meet them.

Robert also has support in his search for love. His dance partner, Witney Carson, who is married to Carson McAllister and has two children, playfully said that she and Robert’s sister, Bindi Irwin, are eager to help him find a partner.

She said to send applications by direct message, and she’d pass them on to Bindi. After that, they would discuss the American tourist.

To which Robert joked, “I’ve got another protective older sister now.”

Although Robert has his wife Whitney supporting him, he’s said before that Bindi-who shares 4-year-old daughter Grace with her husband Chandler Powell-is more adventurous and pushes him to try new things.

Robert told TopMob News in 2022 that a lot of unexpected things were always happening. He explained that Bindi would often joke, ‘Robert, it’s your turn to deal with this now – you need to find someone to help me out!’
