Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is getting a popular new character after launch: Mega Man from Capcom! The news, which appeared in a leak earlier this week, has now been officially confirmed with a new trailer showing Mega Man joining the racing roster.
Players can choose to play as either Mega Man or his rival, Proto Man, and utilize the Rush Roadstar vehicle. The game features a revamped version of Dr. Wily’s Castle, filled with classic robot enemies – including the challenging Yellow Devil – who will try to stop you. The game’s art style perfectly captures the feel of the original series, which makes it even more disappointing that a brand new game hasn’t been released.
The *Mega Man DLC Pack* is coming out sometime next year. Owners of the Deluxe Edition of *Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds* can play it now, while those with the Standard Edition will have access starting September 25th. You can read our review of the game here. Other DLC packs that have been confirmed include content based on *SpongeBob SquarePants*, *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem*, and *Avatar Legends*.
