SUCCESS Corporation and Red Art Games, working with developer Red Art Studios, have revealed the next installment in the shoot ’em up series, *Psyvariar 3*. The game is planned for release on PlayStation 5, the new Switch 2 console, the original Switch, and PC via Steam. A specific release date hasn’t been announced yet.
Here is an overview of the game, via SUCCESS Corporation:
Psyvariar Celebrates its 25th Anniversary
So, City Connection brought out Psyvariar Delta back in 2018, which was cool, but Psyvariar 3 is a really big deal! It’s the first totally new numbered game in the series in over 22 years – I couldn’t believe it when I heard!
The Series’ Trademark BUZZ System Returns
In Psyvariar 3, the popular BUZZ System makes a comeback. This system lets you level up your ship by skillfully flying close to enemy bullets-a mechanic that was a huge hit in classic arcade shoot ’em ups. This new version takes the fast-paced, exciting bullet-hell gameplay to the next level.
New Original and Guest Characters
The game features seven playable characters, including new faces like Naomi and G.Net, as well as guests from other games. Each character controls a different ship with unique weapons and bombs, creating a strategic and visually exciting shooting experience.
Developed by Red Art Games
Developed by the French studio Red Art Games, *Psyvariar 3* is a fast-paced and exciting shoot ’em up game for players around the globe.
