Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater’s Fox Hunt Launches on October 29th, New Gameplay Revealed

Konami recently shared more information about Fox Hunt, a new multiplayer mode for *Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater*, during their latest production hotline. This mode, similar to *Prop Hunt*, will be available starting October 29th at 9 PM Pacific Time.

Fox Hunt in Metal Gear Online lets up to 12 players compete in teams of two. There are three different maps and two ways to play. The goal is to avoid being hunted by other teams, and the All-Terrain Camo suit can help with that. You can use it at the beginning of a match to hide in the environment and either sneak around or set up surprise attacks.

It’s not quite that simple, though, because everyone can also use a special ability called Naked Sense to check their surroundings. While it warns people in hiding when Naked Sense is being used, it drains stamina, so it can’t be used continuously.

During a match, you’ll be able to find weapons and gear that can help you succeed. But be careful – being too aggressive can give away your position. If you fail to complete an objective, you’ll be eliminated, and the last player or team remaining wins.

I’m keeping an eye out for more news on Fox Hunt before it drops, though it looks like we won’t be able to play with people on other platforms this time around. Good news though, *Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater* is already out on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC – I’ve already checked out a review, and it’s looking promising!
