Is Marvel’s Wolverine coming to PC?
Currently, Marvel’s Wolverine hasn’t been officially announced for PC. However, considering Sony has been releasing more games on multiple platforms lately, it’s likely it could come to PC eventually.
Sony’s September 24, 2025, State of Play presentation gave fans a first look at their upcoming Marvel game. Following the success of three Spider-Man titles, Insomniac Games is now developing a game centered around the X-Men character, Wolverine.
The new trailer offers our first glimpse of gameplay for Marvel’s Wolverine, and it looks like a dark and intense experience – exactly what fans would expect from the character.
Marvel’s Wolverine is planned to release in Fall 2026, initially only for the PlayStation 5. While this isn’t unexpected, PC gamers shouldn’t lose hope that the game may come to their platform later on.
Sony and Insomiac’s Spider-Man games on PC give us hope
Sony has been consistently improving its support for PC gaming alongside its PlayStation 5 console. Interestingly, even Xbox players are benefiting, as seen with the popular game Helldivers 2. However, PlayStation rightfully prioritizes its own console platform.
Although a release date for Marvel’s Wolverine on PC hasn’t been confirmed yet, it’s very likely the game will eventually come to PC – it’s just a matter of timing.
Insomniac’s popular Spider-Man games – Marvel’s Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Spider-Man 2 – are now available on PC. While originally released on PlayStation 5, all three titles have made their way to PC. Spider-Man 2, the newest installment, arrived on PC a year and three months after its initial release on PS5.
Several of Sony’s major exclusive games are now available on PC, including popular franchises like Horizon, God of War, The Last of Us, and Days Gone.
Look, as of right now, there’s no official word on a PC release for Marvel’s Wolverine. But honestly, I’m pretty optimistic we’ll see it eventually. I wouldn’t hold my breath for 2027 – realistically, early 2028 seems more likely – but I’m still confident it’s coming to PC one day. I just have a good feeling about it!
Marvel’s Wolverine looks INCREDIBLE

I was really excited when Marvel’s Wolverine was announced, because it’s being developed by the same talented team that created the popular Spider-Man games for PlayStation.
The first gameplay trailer, even though short, confirms that the game is shaping up well. Wolverine moves and fights very differently than Spider-Man, but it’s clear the developers are using what they learned from those previous games to create something special.
This game is shaping up to be quite different from anything we’ve seen before, and it’s great that the developers aren’t holding back on the action and intensity. Wolverine is a much more aggressive hero than Spider-Man, and so far, Insomniac seems to be perfectly capturing what makes the character so compelling.
Just like with the Spider-Man games, this will feature a brand new story developed by Insomniac. You’ll be familiar with the character, but the adventure itself will be completely original.
We’ll learn much more over the next year as the release date for the PS5 approaches, but right now, it’s one of the games I’m most excited about.
