According to Marie Claire’s Halie LeSavage, Meryl Streep stayed in character and seemed pleased with the show, offering nods of approval. She even acknowledged Anna Wintour, the woman who partly inspired her iconic character Miranda Priestley, with a wave.
Throughout the week, people were talking about a possible appearance by the movie character, but LeSavage was completely surprised when it actually happened – she almost fell out of her seat!
