Devolver Digital and Artificer announce maze-building roguelite game Minos for PC

Devolver Digital and Artificer have revealed *Minos*, a roguelite game where you build mazes, is coming to PC (via Steam) in 2026. You can even try a demo right now!

Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:

About

In Minos, you play as the legendary Minotaur, tasked with protecting your labyrinth from waves of treasure-seeking adventurers. It’s a challenging roguelite game where you build and defend your maze.

Everyone talks about a monster lurking in the shadows, and the rewards awaiting the hero who defeats it. But what they don’t realize is that *you* created this dangerous labyrinth, set all the traps, and are now waiting to confront them.

As a gamer, I love that every time I start a new run, it’s totally different. The enemies, the traps, everything changes, and it always seems to end in hilarious chaos. Seriously, no two playthroughs are ever alike!

Key Features

  • Build Your Perfect Trap – Drag walls, gates, and corridors into place to shape your maze however you like. Make long, winding paths full of traps or confuse and split them up with rotating passages and shifting gates. It’s your labyrinth. Cruel or clever, it’s up to you.
  • Chain Reactions of Death
Every spike, boulder, blade, and fire trap can be linked into intricate sequences. Set pressure plates to trigger a whole cascade of chaos, fooling heroes into thinking they are making progress, right before everything goes beautifully, horribly wrong.
  • Who’s the Real Monster? – Uncover the story behind the Minotaur and the man who became it. What drove Daedalus to create such a place? When Theseus finally comes, you’ll decide who deserves to walk out alive.
