Kieran Culkin is unlikely to be home alone for some time.

It turns out he and his wife, Jazz Charton-who are already parents to their 6-year-old daughter, Kinsey Sioux, and 4-year-old son, Wilder Wolf-are expecting another baby. Jazz’s growing baby bump was noticeable when the couple attended the opening night of Waiting for Godot on Broadway on September 28.

For the event, Kieran wore a gray and striped knitted sweater with black pants, and he noticeably placed his hand on his wife’s stomach while posing for pictures. Jazz complemented him in a fitted, beige knitted dress that clearly showed off her growing baby bump.

Both of them were beaming as they quietly shared the news that they’re expecting a baby. This announcement comes more than a year after Kieran initially hoped to use his Emmy award as an opportunity to discuss with Jazz the possibility of having a family.

While accepting an award in January 2024 for his work on Succession, he said to his wife, “Jazz, thank you for being my beautiful wife, and for giving me our two wonderful children.”

He then added, “And Jazz, I want more. You said maybe, if I win.”

The request was initially greeted with laughter from the crowd-even Jazz joined in, clapping from where she was sitting.

However, Kieran wasn’t finished. After the 42-year-old received another award for his acting-this time at the 2025 Oscars for his work in A Real Pain-he brought up the promises his wife of 12 years had made, once again.

During the March ceremony, Kieran shared a story about something that happened roughly a year prior. He explained that while on stage, he foolishly announced he wanted another child with his partner. He admitted he’d said this publicly because she had jokingly told him she’d give him a child if he won an award. However, he continued, she only said that because she didn’t believe he would actually win. “Turns out she said that because she didn’t think I was going to win.”

The Home Alone actor explained that Jazz initially didn’t recall making the promise at the Emmys, but later remembered it. Kieran, though, had other things on his mind: he shared that he really hoped to have four children.

He went on, “She looked at me and told me, ‘I’ll give you four if you ever win an Oscar.’ I extended my hand, and she shook it. I haven’t mentioned it again until this very moment. Do you recall that, dear?”

Seeing his wife smile and laugh from the crowd, Kieran finished with, “Jazz, my love, even though you sometimes doubt me, I want to say: Don’t worry. I love you very much. I’m truly sorry I messed up again, and let’s start thinking about having children. What do you think? I love you!”
