Bella Hadid is strutting through recovery.
The 28-year-old model walked the runway at Paris Fashion Week on September 29th, just weeks after publicly sharing her experiences with a recent round of treatment for Lyme disease. She had given an emotional account of the treatment cycle.
Following her absence from New York Fashion Week, Bella made a striking comeback, walking in Saint Laurent’s Ready-to-Wear Spring/Summer 2026 show. On the runway, the model wore a semi-see-through golden vinyl trench coat featuring bold, structured shoulders and a thick, belted waist, creating a defined silhouette.
She paired her coat with black tights and low-heeled shoes, adding brown sunglasses and strikingly large, jeweled earrings. Bella kept her hairstyle uncomplicated, pulling her hair back into a neat bun to let the coat be the main focus.
Bella made a grand return to the runway at a stunning location: the show was held at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, which sparkled beautifully in all the photos. It was truly a memorable setting!
Bella’s comeback to the runway follows her recent discussion about managing her Lyme disease, which she was diagnosed with more than ten years ago. She offered a glimpse into how she deals with the condition, a disease she’s been living with for over a decade.
The photo collection released on Sept. 17 showed Bella, appearing upset and connected to IV drips while in the hospital. These images were mixed with photos from her summer, featuring visits to charming and picturesque towns.
She captioned the post, “I’m sorry I always go MIA I love you guys.”

Those close to Bella shared messages of encouragement, including her mother, Yolanda Hadid, who praised her as a “Lyme warrior.” Her sister, Gigi Hadid, added a loving message, saying, “I love you! I hope feel as strong and good as u deserve, soon!!!!!!
Soon after Bella posted about her personal experiences, Yolanda offered more details about her daughter’s continuing health journey-and how it feels to watch as a mother.
Watching my daughter, Bella, silently struggle has been incredibly painful for me,” Yolanda-who also lives with the disease-shared in a post on September 18th. She explained that the hidden effects of chronic Lyme disease are difficult for others to understand. “I try to stay strong and positive throughout our journey with Lyme, but seeing my baby suffer is far worse than dealing with my own pain.”

Speaking to her daughter, Yolanda said, “No words can truly capture the depth of the suffering, pain, and uncertainty you’ve experienced since being diagnosed in 2013. It wasn’t really living, it was learning to simply get by, trapped within the confines of your own body and mind.”
The 61-year-old stated that Bella’s latest treatment took a month, and she reaffirmed her commitment to stand by Bella throughout the process.
“This illness has been incredibly difficult for us, but we are resilient and always recover,” she explained. “We’ll keep working towards a brighter future, as a united front.”
