Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Yōtei is launching in just two days, and IGN has shared details about the day one patch. Version 1.006 is a must-have for players using the disc version, bringing with it some substantial improvements to the game.
As a big fan, I’m really excited about all the updates! They’ve made a bunch of improvements to how the game looks, especially with the environment. Photo Mode is getting some love too, and they’ve tweaked missions involving multiple characters. They’ve also squashed some rare crashes that were happening when loading saves or just playing for a long time, which is awesome. And finally, they’ve fixed some annoying issues with how the camera acted during combat, plus some bugs in both Bamboo Strike and Zeni Hajiki. Can’t wait to jump back in!
You can find complete details in the patch notes below. Ghost of Yōtei will be released on October 2nd for PS5. Read our review here – we rated it nine out of ten, and really liked the story, characters, fighting, and how the world is designed.
There’s plenty more on the way next year with the return of Legends, the cooperative mode for Ghost of Tsushima. Although specific details haven’t been revealed yet, players can look forward to facing off against massive versions of the Yōtei Six as bosses.
