While Disney is well-known for expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Star Wars galaxy, the company also has a history of creating successful original stories that have resonated with audiences. Animated series like Gravity Falls and Amphibia have become popular with fans, known for their creative storytelling, well-developed characters, and imaginative adventures. The Owl House is another much-loved Disney series, and even though it concluded after three seasons, the story continues in unexpected ways.
Recently, characters from The Owl House reappeared in the kid-friendly series Chibi Tiny Tales. If you’re unfamiliar with this interesting crossover show aimed at younger viewers, you might be surprised it’s lasted for six seasons and has over 126 episodes! It’s not exactly a continuation of the original Owl House, but it does feature crossovers with that world, as well as shows like DuckTales, Gravity Falls, Moana, Phineas and Ferb, and many others. In a recent short, characters from Terrace met the characters from Kiff, and you can watch it below.

Although Eda Clawthorne may reappear as a small, chibi-style character, don’t anticipate an official sequel to the original Owl House series. In 2024, the show’s creator, Dana Terrace, shared on social media that there are currently no plans for a fourth season. She also expressed she doesn’t feel a need to return to that world, stating, “Besides, I don’t want a [The Owl House Season 4]. I don’t want to ‘redo’ anything or build my entire career around a single show concept. But if that ever changes, you’ll hear it directly from me, not from someone trying to gain views on tiktok.”
The possibility of The Owl House returning seems even less likely now that Terrace is focusing on a brand new project, Knights of Guinevere. Dana recently released a pilot episode for this new show, and it’s noticeably darker in tone than the series that brought us Eda and her magical friends. With its focus on more adult themes and visuals, it’s hard to picture Disney picking up this pilot, though it’s already received a lot of attention on YouTube, suggesting it could become a full series. Here’s the official description for Knights of Guinevere,
Knights of Guinevere is a futuristic psychological thriller. It takes place on a planet covered by a massive amusement park in the sky… but also in the dark areas below. There, a damaged Princess Android could offer two people a chance at a better life-or lead to their destruction.
