JoJo Siwa is putting her dancing foot down.
During the start of her European Infinity Heart Tour in Dublin, Ireland, on September 29th, the singer of “Karma” asked the audience to please not bother her boyfriend, Chris Hughes, with requests for selfies during the concert. She essentially made a rule against fans approaching him for photos.
During the concert, which was captured in a video posted online, JoJo said, “I know everyone loves Chris Hughes, but he’s my boyfriend, and I’d really like him to watch my show.” She jokingly added, “If he turns around to take another selfie, I’m going to have to start the song over. Please don’t do that, okay?”
The 22-year-old said, “It’s okay to take a picture from a distance, and you can even record a video of him, but please let him enjoy the show. Can you promise me that? I love you.”
From up on stage, I also saw JoJo speak directly to Chris, who’s 32. It’s so sweet – they actually started dating after being on Celebrity Big Brother UK together back in April. I was rooting for them then, and I still am!
“Honey, I appreciate how nice you are to everyone,” she went on, “but I need a little something for myself right now. Can I just have a moment to focus on me?”
The instance of tough love stems from the deep connection JoJo has with Chris, as she expressed she “couldn’t imagine my world without sweet Christopher boy.”
“I feel completely at peace and truly happy, and I don’t feel any pressure to project a certain image,” JoJo told TopMob News in June. “I’m more centered and confident than I ever have been.”
As the Dance Moms star explained, “Serendipity is a lovely way to describe it, since it happened when I wasn’t even searching for it.”
She also reflected on what drew her to Chris in the first place.

“It’s a strange combination, but it works,” JoJo shared. “After Big Brother, it just became obvious. We really click – we have a lot of fun, understand each other easily, and balance each other out. We’re also very patient with one another.”
And Chris agreed with her assessment.
He told TopMob News in July that she is “literally the love of my life,” and also his closest friend.
Read on to look back at JoJo’s dating history before meeting Chris.

For JoJo Siwa, who was 17 at the time, August 1, 2020, was a special day. It was the day she publicly shared who she was dating-the person who finally captured her attention more than her celebrity crushes on Grey’s Anatomy’s Patrick Dempsey and Zac Efron.
“He’s incredible, and I can’t picture anyone being a better fit,” the Dance Moms star excitedly told the musician’s mom, Jessalynn Siwa.
But by that November, the pair were no longer in harmony.
“Mark doesn’t deserve this negativity,” Siwa posted on Instagram, standing up for her former boyfriend. “He deserves support. You don’t know anything about Mark and my relationship – how much fun we had, how happy we were, and how happy we still are. We simply decided it was best if we weren’t together… and that’s it.”

JoJo Siwa and Kylie Prew first became friends during a cruise in 2020, but their relationship blossomed a year later. The reality star announced on Instagram in February 2021 that she had begun dating this “exceptional human.”
I’ve always believed in being your authentic self, and I have to give a huge shout-out to my incredible girlfriend – she’s been the biggest support in helping me embrace that! I’d already had some fun creating content with Pride House, a fantastic group of LGBTQ+ TikTokers, and even shared a TikTok of me dancing to Lady Gaga‘s empowering anthem, “Born This Way.” I was recently thinking about whether or not to post a picture of my new shirt – it says “Best Gay Cousin Ever” – and just decided to go for it! It’s all about living your truth and having fun while doing it.
Oh my gosh, you guys, I was telling JoJo about wanting to put this picture on my Reels story, and she was *so* sweet! I was all, ‘I kinda just want to…’ and she immediately was like, ‘Do it!‘ It was the push I needed! I was like, ‘All right,’ and I just did it! She’s the best!
I remember when JoJo and Avery first moved in together – honestly, looking back, even we fans were thinking, ‘That probably wasn’t the best idea,’ as JoJo herself said on the Call Her Daddy podcast back in April 2024. It was sad when they broke up that October, but it was really sweet when they shared one last dance together in 2022.
JoJo Siwa shared with Call Her Daddy‘s Alex Cooper that she and Avery Cyrus remain close, describing him as her “good friend” and saying they speak “all the time.”

JoJo Siwa revealed on the Rachel Uncensored Podcast in March 2022 that she’s in a relationship and isn’t looking to date around. She stated, “No, I’m a loyal lady.”
She’d played the field, she continued, and snagged herself a catch in Katie Mills.
“You know, I’ve really explored my options,” Siwa playfully said. “I put in a lot of effort, gained a lot of experience, and I’m incredibly happy with where I’ve ended up.”
But safe to say her romance with the TikToker wasn’t all fun and games.
After Siwa shared a video in March 2023 discussing manipulative tactics like “love bombing” and attention-seeking from past relationships, Mills responded with some pointed statements of her own.
As someone who observes relationships a lot, I’ve seen this pattern play out time and time again. Recently, I came across a woman who really put it all into perspective – she shared on TikTok that she was finally speaking up. She said, and I quote, “I’m done being quiet.” It’s just baffling to me how someone can profess love for another person, then completely disappear – what’s known as ‘ghosting’ – and *then* turn around and publicly accuse them of seeking attention or being manipulative. Honestly, I don’t get it. It’s a really confusing and hurtful dynamic.
Furthermore, she explained, Siwa was the one who first shared details of their relationship with the public. Mills, however, always asked for Siwa’s permission before posting anything about their romance online. Mills emphasized, “I have the text messages to back this up, so please don’t challenge me on it.”

It’s safe to say that Avery Cyrus-the YouTuber JoJo Siwa briefly dated in 2022-hasn’t become a prominent figure in her inner circle.
During their 12-day anniversary celebration, the singer described life with her partner as a D.R.E.A.M. She explained to TopMob News that October, “We just click – our personalities blend perfectly, and that’s really key.” She also shared, “She’s incredibly positive and always lifts me up, and I think I do the same for her.”
However, the atmosphere shifted in December. Just two days after Cyrus announced their breakup, Siwa indirectly criticized someone she claimed had exploited her popularity.
“I was taken advantage of, just for attention and popularity,” she complained in a December 2022 video that her mother posted to her Instagram Story. “I was led to believe someone cared about me, and I was completely manipulated.”
For Cyrus, though, their dalliance wasn’t a game.
Speaking personally, JoJo and I parted ways amicably and remain friends,” she shared in an exclusive statement to TopMob News. “Our connection was genuine, and I only feel love and respect for JoJo and her family.

Dakayla Wilson finished as the runner-up on season 18 of So You Think You Can Dance, but she clearly made a big impression on judge JoJo Siwa. Siwa shared in an August TikTok, “She taught a dance class, so I took some time off from being JoJo Siwa and became her All Star Assistant,” effectively confirming their relationship.
For several months, Wilson was a wonderful dance partner. Siwa revealed that the teen supported her desire to have triplets soon, and she generously spent $30,000 on her 19th birthday party in Hawaii.
“We are completely head over heels for each other,” the former Nickelodeon star told TopMob News. “She’s an incredibly special person, and I feel so fortunate to have her in my life.”
But it turned out that Wilson wasn’t all Siwa wanted for Christmas.
It was tough when we went our separate ways, but she really is an amazing girl,” I remember JoJo Siwa telling People back in November 2024. “I’m excited about my own holiday plans, and I know she’s enjoying being with her family during the holidays.”

Siwa publicly announced she was dating Kath Ebbs in January 2025, referring to the Australian content creator as her “girlfriend.”
Ebbs reciprocated the affection, sharing pictures of them kissing around the same time. On Instagram, they posted, “Bit of queer joy for ya feed today!!“
But only three months after that, Ebbs shared that they actually broke up at the wrap party for Celebrity Big Brother UK.
In an April 2025 TikTok video, Ebbs explained, “I heard there were mixed emotions, and you can interpret that however you like,” and added, “the others in the house came to the conclusion that I wasn’t who they wanted to be with long-term.”
However, Siwa emphasized that this wasn’t a situation where she could easily be substituted, even though she was close to fellow housemate Chris Hughes.
During the filming process, “I found myself lost in my own thoughts, disconnected from the people I knew, external opinions, and everything else,” Siwa shared on April 28th during an appearance on ITV’s This Morning with Hughes. “It was then, while being alone with my thoughts, that I came to understand things I had accepted in my life that I shouldn’t have tolerated in the first place.”

Even though Siwa didn’t win Celebrity Big Brother UK, she gained something even better during filming in the spring of 2025: a romantic relationship with fellow contestant Chris Hughes.
“Christopher is who I love talking about the most,” she enthusiastically told TopMob News’ Keltie Knight at the opening of Universal’s Epic Universe on May 21. “I shouldn’t say ‘thing’-he’s my favorite person to talk about.”
And, yet, she kept reiterating, they were just friends. Until they weren’t.
“Things have moved beyond just friendship,” Siwa shared with The Guardian in an interview from June 2025, “and it’s been a wonderful experience. We have a really strong connection, and I’m completely in love with him – he feels the same way too.”
When it comes to describing her sexuality, she continues to believe that “queer” most accurately captures who she is. However, she prioritizes connecting with someone’s personality over focusing on labels. She’s someone who falls in love with the person, not the category they identify with.
JoJo Siwa pointed out that there are many different sexual identities. She added, “I think there’s nothing more beautiful than somebody discovering themselves.”
