As a big Xbox fan, I was just reading about some changes to Xbox Game Pass! Microsoft Gaming announced they’re revamping the plans with three new tiers: Essential, Premium, and Ultimate. The good news is that Essential is replacing the current Core plan, and Premium is taking over from Standard, and thankfully, neither of those will cost us more. However, the Ultimate plan *is* getting a price bump – it’s going up 50 percent, from $19.99 a month to $29.99. They’re also increasing the price of the PC Game Pass, by 40 percent, moving it from $11.99 to $16.49. The PC plan won’t get the upgraded features, but we’ll still get day one releases, which is awesome! You can find more details here.

- In-game benefits, including for Riot Games
- Online console multiplayer
- Play and earn up to $50 a year in the Store with Rewards
- Ultimate ($29.99 per month) – Price increased by 50 percent from $19.99 per month
- Over 400 games
- Playable on PC, console, and cloud
- Over 75 day one games a year, including all Xbox published games day one
- Ubisoft+ Classics and EA Play included, with Fortnite Crew coming in November (requires Game Pass Ultimate)
- Unlimited cloud gaming at our best quality with the shortest wait times.
- In-game benefits, including for Riot Games
- Online console multiplayer
- Play and earn up to $100 a year in the Store with Rewards
- PC Game Pass ($16.49 per month) – Prince increased by 40 percent from $11.99 per month
