Zac Brown kept it wild for Kendra Scott.

Only two months after announcing their engagement, the singer of “Chicken Fried” shared more about the incredible surprise he had planned.

Zac described a memorable scene in a Fox News Digital interview on October 5th. He said they were on a river, with a barge nearby. He vividly recalled 30 elephants on the riverbank, a beautiful sunset, birds in the sky, and hippos swimming in the water, adding, ‘I got a really good view.’

Though on where exactly this wildlife-filled location was, Zac’s lips are sealed.

Last July, 47-year-old [Name] and Kendra, 51, announced their engagement to People magazine. They shared a photo of themselves with a beautiful red sunset in the background, and Kendra showed off her pink diamond engagement ring.

As they told the outlet at the time, “We are so happy and grateful that we found each other.”

Zac and Kendra announced their engagement just two months after publicly confirming their relationship at the 2025 American Music Awards in May. This marriage feels different for Zac, who previously divorced Kelly Yazdi in 2023, and for Kendra as well.

He told Fox News that while he’s been through similar situations before, this experience is unlike anything he’s known. He’s thankful they connected, especially as fellow leaders who can truly understand and support each other in a way that hasn’t happened for him previously, and he deeply admires her character.

Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE Zac’s family history! Before he married his current wife, he was with Shelly Brown, and they had FIVE kids together! There’s Justice, who’s 18 now, then Lucy, Georgia, Joni, and little Alexander. It’s just… a lot of beautiful children! And Kendra? She’s a mom too! She was married to John Scott and they had Cade and Beck, but that ended in 2006. Then she had Grey with Matt Davis. Seriously, both of them have such lovely families, it’s amazing!

Zac and Kendra’s children have quickly bonded, making the process of combining their families go smoothly.

Zac said it’s been wonderful having her around, and his children really love her. She has older sons and has been through some difficult times, so it’s understandable that her boys are protective of her.

He believes that as people get to know him, they understand him better. He also spoke highly of her children, noting that she has a son the same age as his own. He praised her parenting, saying her kids are a reflection of the amazing mother she is and all she’s accomplished.
