In Spy x Family, each member of the Forger family is keeping a secret – not only from the outside world, but from each other too.
Loid Forger appears to be a typical father, but he’s secretly a highly skilled spy. His wife, Yor, leads a double life as a notorious assassin. Their daughter, Anya, has a secret of her own – she can read minds. And it’s not just the family with secrets; even their dog, Bond, has a surprising ability: he can see the future, which they’re all keeping hidden.
Everyone in Spy x Family has unique strengths, but who would win in a fight? We’ve put together a ranking of the most powerful characters to see how the Forgers stack up against their rivals.
Sorry in advance to Bond for not quite making the cut. But he knew that already.
10. Anya Forger

Anya Forger is undeniably the cutest character in Spy x Family, though she’s also one of the smallest. This isn’t a ranking of cuteness, however. Surprisingly, Anya is also quite strong, perhaps more so than people realize.
Anya is still a little kid, and using her powers tires her out quickly. However, considering how courageous and clever she is at just five years old, imagine how powerful she could become with proper training when she grows up! Don’t underestimate her – she always faces danger with a laugh, which is more than most can do.
9. Martha Marriott

Things aren’t always what they seem, and that’s especially true in the world of espionage. Martha Marriott, who appears to be a gentle nanny to Becky Blackbell, has a surprising past – she was once a soldier in Ostania’s army. The wealthy Blackbell family hired her for a very specific reason: to keep Becky safe.
Loid Forger immediately notices Marriott has a strong, almost warrior-like presence. She’s a nanny, but also a skilled undercover bodyguard. Though she may not move as quickly as she once did, Martha is still a force to be reckoned with at any age.
8. SSS Lieutenant

The SSS Lieutenant is Yuri Briar’s boss at Ostania State Security, immediately making him a figure of authority. His scarred face and secretive nature only add to his intimidating presence. It’s frustrating – Anya, why won’t you just read his mind?
I haven’t actually seen the SSS Lieutenant fight yet, so it’s tough to say exactly how powerful he is. But everyone talks about him, and knowing how completely committed he is to every mission, I’d say he’s a seriously strong opponent in the world of Spy x Family.
7. Yuri Briar

Yor’s brother, a recent addition to the secret police, is surprisingly effective at his job, quickly proving to be ruthless and efficient. However, his greatest strength isn’t his physical ability – it’s his intense devotion to his sister.
Beyond his intense training, Yuri’s greatest strength is his tolerance for Yor’s awful cooking. While others might struggle with her dishes, Yuri will eat anything she makes to make her happy, even if it means suffering the consequences to his health.
6. Sylvia Sherwood

I’m absolutely fascinated by Sylvia! As Loid’s boss at WISE, she’s got to be brilliant – constantly monitoring his missions means she needs to be super sharp, know everything that’s going on, and be incredibly competent. But honestly, she’s way more than just an information guru; there’s so much more to her than meets the eye!
Sylvia’s high rank in the spy organization proves she’s a highly skilled agent, especially considering her impressive combat abilities. Plus, anyone capable of training Loid is clearly a force to be reckoned with. It makes you wonder what other secrets she’s keeping hidden under that large hat!
5. Matthew McMahon

Matthew McMahon appears to be a mild-mannered policy director at City Hall, but he leads a double life as a Garden assassin. He’s not just a typical assassin, though – he seems to be Yor’s handler, suggesting he has a position of authority within the organization, likely higher than hers.
Honestly, McMahon is a really interesting case! He *could* potentially be even more powerful than Yor, based on what we’ve seen, but it’s also possible he just has a lot of support internally. What’s undeniable is that he’s a seriously skilled fighter – we got a little glimpse of that during the Cruise Arc when he teamed up with Yor. The thing is, we just haven’t seen enough of him in action yet to confidently put him above her on a power ranking, even if the show hints he might be stronger. It’s frustrating because he clearly has the potential!
4. Type F

Though appearing briefly in the SPY X FAMILY CODE film, the cyborg villain who nearly defeated Yor is incredibly memorable. Heavily armed and remarkably resilient, he’s easily one of the most powerful characters in the entire SPY X FAMILY universe. The creators clearly aimed for a formidable opponent, and they succeeded.
Despite being a man of few words, this villain’s plan to disrupt peace between the East and West was surprisingly simple. Yor was able to defeat him by exploiting his overconfidence. However, even with this flaw, he remained a formidable opponent, capable of defeating most other characters in the series.
3. Fiona Frost

Fiona Frost, also known as Agent Nightfall, was once a student of Loid’s – and she really enjoyed the training! As one of WISE’s top agents, she’s consistently proven herself to be just as capable as him, and maybe even more so, especially when it comes to physical strength.
Fiona’s biggest flaw is really her intense, unwavering love for Loid. It’s likely that will be the cause of any problems she faces. But honestly, Loid is incredibly charming, so it’s hard to blame her!
2. Loid Forger

Let me tell you, Agent Twilight is just phenomenal – truly the best spy around, hands down. He’s a master of disguise and slipping into any situation undetected, but people underestimate his combat skills! This guy is incredibly fit and consistently walks away from fights that would finish off most people. He’s a total pro!
Loid’s commitment to safeguarding the world is even more impressive than his physical power. He shows this dedication through both small acts of generosity and the loving bonds he’s formed with his adoptive family, the Forgers.
1. Yor Forger

During the day, Yor appears as a quiet and kind office worker, happily cooking for her family, despite her questionable culinary skills. However, under the cover of darkness, she transforms into the infamous Thorn Princess, a highly skilled assassin known throughout Ostania for her flawless and deadly work.
Yor is incredibly skilled in battle and hasn’t lost a fight yet. She’s also surprisingly strong – almost unbelievably so! Viewers have seen her easily defeat multiple assassins and, in a playful moment with Anya, accidentally knock down a whole line of trees with a single throw.
Honestly, Yor Forger is becoming the absolute powerhouse of Spy x Family – she’s totally like the ‘One-Punch Man’ of the series! I’m really hoping we see her incredible strength continue to shine in season 3 and for many seasons to come. I’m a huge fan and can’t wait to see what she does next!
