Square Enix will release a physical bundle containing both *Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade* and *Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth* on December 4th. The bundle is available for pre-order now from the official Square Enix store for €69.99 and is currently only being released for the PlayStation 5.
The company also announced that the physical twin pack will contain both games on three Blu-Ray discs.
The first game in the *Final Fantasy 7 Remake* trilogy is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S on January 22nd, alongside a combined physical release for the first two games on PS5. These new versions will include everything from the original game and its *Intergrade* expansion, plus options to make the experience easier – players can enable maximum damage, unlimited Gil, fully leveled Materia, and quickly learn weapon abilities.
Last month, co-director Naoki Hamaguchi shared an update on the third and final game in the series, saying development was going smoothly and the team was now polishing the details. He also mentioned that *Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth*, the second game, had strong sales on both PC and PlayStation 5, so fans don’t need to worry about the third game’s progress.
According to Hamaguchi, *FFVII Rebirth* is performing strongly on PlayStation 5 and PC. He acknowledged some fan worries but assured them that the team is committed to delivering a high-quality third game.
He said development is progressing smoothly and the game is really coming together. Much of the game is already playable, and they have a clear vision for how it will be. Currently, the team is focused on polishing and improving everything.
Hamaguchi also discussed how the studio uses feedback from fans, particularly between releases of the games in the trilogy. He explained that splitting the original, expansive story of *Final Fantasy 7* into three *Remake* games has been a great benefit to the development process.
Hamaguchi explained that fan feedback is a key part of their development process. He noted that because the game is part of a trilogy, they have the unique opportunity to release one game, gather player responses, and then use that feedback to improve the subsequent titles. Producer Yoshinori Kitase sees this as a significant advantage of the series, allowing them to adapt and refine the experience based on how players react.
The Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Rebirth Twin Pack is coming to PlayStation 5 on December 4th! This physical edition includes the first two games in the remake trilogy, spread across three discs. You can find more details on the official blog.
