These Battlefield 6 Portal Custom Maps & Modes Are Unreal

Players of the new *Battlefield 6* are already making amazing things with the game’s Portal feature. With so many free games available and financial pressures on people, expensive games really need to justify their price tag. In the past, developers would sell extra maps for $10 to $20 every few months, but players now expect ongoing content updates to be included. This led to the rise of battle passes and in-game purchases as a way for game companies to make money. Basically, when a game costs $70, players deserve a lot of content, and it’s easy to see why they feel that way – you want to get your money’s worth!

Battlefield 6 offers a lot for your money this fall, with a full campaign, traditional multiplayer, and the innovative Portal mode. While Portal felt like a separate experience in Battlefield 2042, it’s now a much more central part of the game. This time, Portal is more robust, offering detailed map-making tools that let players create complex and unique experiences. This level of creative freedom is rare in major AAA games, and fans are already using Battlefield 6’s Portal tools to build impressive content.

Battlefield 6 Recreate Space Invaders, Call of Duty’s Shipment, and Much More in Portal

If you’re tired of the standard Conquest and Breakthrough modes, there’s plenty to explore in Battlefield 6. The game features a server browser filled with custom content created by players. This includes dedicated playlists for specific maps or modes, and even completely new experiences that go beyond traditional Battlefield gameplay. A particularly popular creation is a fan-made version of Shipment, the famously chaotic and small map from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and its sequels. It’s known for being a fast-paced, intense experience perfect for quickly leveling up your weapons.

Players are continuing to impress in *Battlefield 6* by recreating classic games! One player successfully built a fully functional version of *Space Invaders* within the game, and it’s surprisingly well-done without relying on typical *Battlefield* gameplay. If you need help mastering the controls, the Portal training grounds offer practice with jets and helicopters. Plus, fans are currently developing a recreation of the Desert Glory map from the third-person shooter *SOCOM 2*. Check out examples of these amazing creations below.

I’m seriously hyped that all this cool stuff is available right from the start of *Battlefield 6*! People are already creating some amazing things with Portal, and I can’t wait to see what else they come up with. There’s so much potential for unique game modes. If you want to find even more awesome experiences beyond just looking through the server browser, I definitely recommend checking out the Battlefield subreddit – they’re bound to be showcasing the best new modes and maps.
