Trigger Point season 3 release date finally confirmed as Vicky McClure series returns with added treat for fans

Good news for fans! Season 3 of Trigger Point is coming to ITV1 and ITVX very soon, and we now have a confirmed release date.

I just got a sneak peek at Vicky McClure’s new thriller, and trust me, it’s seriously gripping! If you’re a fan of her work in *Line of Duty*, you’ll be happy to know Jed Mercurio is producing. Mark your calendars – it’s hitting ITV1 on Sunday, October 26th, 2025, at 9pm. You won’t want to miss it.

As a huge fan myself, I’m thrilled to hear they’re releasing all six episodes at once! It means we can binge-watch the entire season the moment it drops and dive right into all the surprises and drama the show is known for.

The third season of Trigger Point will arrive on ITV1, and a new trailer revealing the premiere date aired today.

Trigger Point centers around Lana Washington (McClure), a police officer specializing in explosives. She’s already bravely handled two major terror attacks in London, both of which affected her deeply.

She’s mourned several losses during these conflicts, including her brother Billy (Ewan Mitchell from House of the Dragon), a past relationship with DCI Youngblood (Mark Stanley from Adolescence), and a colleague named Joel Nutkins (Adrian Lester from The Hack).

The recent shocking deaths have proven that anyone can become a target in Trigger Point, so be prepared for surprises when the new season begins later this month.

This short preview comes after a previous trailer that offered a glimpse of the upcoming season, including the new cast members Mark Rowley (known from *The Last Kingdom*) and Jason Flemyng (*Prime Target*).

Eric Shango, Nabil Elouahabi, Natalie Simpson, and Maanuv Thiara are returning for another season, reprising their roles as Danny, Hass, DS Helen Morgan, and DCI Amar Batra, respectively. But with the season ending, will all of them make it to the finale?

Trigger Point season 3 is coming to ITV1 and ITVX on Sunday 26th October 2025.
