King Kylie on the track.
Kylie Jenner revisited her past musical project, Terror Jr., releasing a new single called “Fourth Strike” on October 13th. To celebrate working with the band – which includes singer Lisa Vitale and producer David “Campa” Benjamin Singer-Vine – Kylie shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of her time recording in the studio.
Okay, so things are officially WILD! I just dropped ‘Fourth Strike’ with Terror Jr. and King K, and it’s available everywhere now! You guys, there was this rumor going around about ten years ago that *I* was the vocalist on their song ‘3 Strikes’ – which, honestly, I wish had been true! But it got me thinking… so I reached out, and now we’ve created ‘Fourth Strike,’ and this time, it *is* me featured on the track! It’s been a fun full-circle moment, and I’m so excited for you all to hear it.
Okay, so I just had the most incredible experience! I collaborated with @terror.jr on a new track, and honestly, it turned out even better than I imagined. I was super nervous about being featured, but they totally trusted my vision. Huge thanks to @thacarterb for connecting me with such a dream team – @bschoudel, @kshmr, and @jbach were amazing to work with. And of course, a massive shoutout to my incredible makeup artist and biggest supporter, @makeupbyariel, for always having my back and keeping me feeling confident!
Kylie Jenner showcased her singing on social media, softly vocalizing the name of her persona, “King Kylie,” into a microphone. She also shared a clip of herself listening to her vocals recorded for the song’s bridge. Adding to the fun, Kylie recorded her children, Stormi, 7, and Aire, 3, along with Travis Scott, singing the song together in the car.
Terror Jr showed their support in the comments, writing, “Thank you for collaborating with us on this! You sound amazing!”
As a beauty and pop culture enthusiast, I loved the nod to Kylie Cosmetics’ origins with the ‘Fourth Strike’ collection! It brought me right back to the very beginning. The first collection actually used the song ‘3 Strikes’ by Terror Jr in all their promotional material, and it created this huge mystery – everyone wondered if Kylie herself was the singer! It was a fun time before the band revealed who was actually behind the music.
The song “Fourth Strike” is featured in the promotional material for Kylie Cosmetics’ 10th anniversary collection.
Oh my gosh, you guys, the new teaser is EVERYTHING! Kylie looked absolutely incredible with her dark hair and those signature teal ends. They’re literally interrogating her – can you believe it?! – for completely changing the beauty world! And then, she gets *released* and hops into a convertible with her mom, Kris Jenner! It was so iconic! She’s bringing back her old alter ego, which she hinted at months ago, and celebrating this huge makeup collection by rocking that teal crown again. I’m seriously losing it – it’s a full circle moment!
