Wildkeepers Rising launches October 23 for PC, shortly after for PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch

Okay, so I’m really excited to share that *Wildkeepers Rising*, that awesome survivor-like roguelite I’ve been playing in Early Access, is officially launching on PC via Steam on October 23rd! It’ll be just $9.99, which is a steal. And the best part? Lioncode Games said PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch versions are coming soon after the PC launch, in just a few weeks! I’ve been waiting for this to hit consoles, so that’s huge!

Wildkeepers Rising first launched in Early Access for PC via Steam on March 31.

Lioncode Games aimed to significantly improve the traditional ‘bullet heaven’ style of game, and they’re especially excited about adding unique creatures, called Guardians, to the mix. These Guardians aren’t just collectibles; they work together as a team with special abilities. Combined with diverse missions, environments that impact how you play, and a huge range of monsters, characters, and spells, the game offers both instant fun and strategic depth, according to director Sergio Garces.

Here are the latest details:

Version 1.0 Launch

Following a well-received seven months in Early Access, where players on Steam generally liked the game, *Wildkeepers Rising* is now fully launched with a complete and expanded experience. It goes beyond typical arena survival games, and the 1.0 release includes new content and improvements suggested by the community.

  • New Wildkeepers: Milo and Ivy
  • New Fire and Ice Environment with five new Guardians, new Enemies, and new Bosses
  • Gear System For Strategic Meta-Progression
  • Performance Optimizations and Bug Fixes

Instead of relying on button-mashing and direct combat like many action games, *Wildkeepers Rising* is all about skillful movement and smart strategy. Attacks happen automatically, so you’ll focus on where you are, when you use your powerful Guardian abilities, and how you build your team of four creatures. With so many possible combinations, each playthrough offers fresh ways to experiment and improve your tactics.
