In Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, increasing your character’s Ability Scores is a key part of becoming more powerful.
Your Ability Score in this game works a lot like gear score in other online role-playing games. Basically, it shows how good your equipment is â the better your gear, the higher your Ability Score will be!
In this quick guide, weâll tell you various easy ways to increase your Ability Score.
How to Get High Ability Score | Blue Protocol: Star Resonance
The easiest way to increase your character’s Ability Score in this game is by equipping stronger gear. Getting a complete set of Epic (purple) or Legendary (orange) items will give you the biggest boost.
If you’re just starting out, Harvey is a great resource for getting powerful Epic gear. You can find him at the Gear Exchange, which is located within the Artisan Guild in Asterleeds.
You can get powerful Epic gear by visiting the Gear Exchange and trading Alloy Shards. Since Alloy Shards are common, this is a fast and easy way to improve your equipment!
Just a heads-up: the shop’s inventory changes every week. Also, as you gain levels, Harvey will start offering more powerful items for purchase.
When you visit the Artisan Guild, be sure to chat with Maxim. He’s the Gear Enhance Artisan, located right beside Harvey, and he can help you improve your equipment by reforging or refining it.
Reforge lets you improve your gear right away. By using Reforge Stones, you can increase the stats on your equipment, which also raises your characterâs overall power.
You’ll unlock the Refine feature at Level 30. It lets you use materials to upgrade your equipment slots, permanently boosting your character’s attributes. These improvements apply to the slots themselves, not the items you equip!
Farming Legendary Gear
Okay, so another way to boost my stats is just to play and get better gear! Honestly, trying to collect a complete set of Epic and Legendary items is the best way to go, especially if I can snag a full set of Legendary stuff. That really makes a difference!
If you’re looking to get some good gear, I’ve found the Chaotic Realm dungeons at the Unit X Research Facility in Asterleeds are the way to go. Seriously, I’ve been running them and they drop some awesome stuff!
You’re most likely to find Legendary gear in these dungeons, particularly on harder difficulty levels. While it’s still rare, this is the best place to look for it.
Honestly, if you’re short on time, you can just jump into the Monster Hunt and focus on taking down the World Bosses. The best part is, every single boss drops equipment, and you’ve even got a good chance of getting some seriously awesome Legendary gear!
Generally, Monster Hunt isnât quite as rewarding as Chaotic Realms. Getting good gear from bosses is very uncommon, so we donât suggest focusing on it. However, it can be a fun break from your usual grinding!
Ultimately, improving your Ability Score in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance is simple! Just focus on consistently getting better equipment, whether by finding it or enhancing what you already have.
