Monster Hunter Now, though not as huge as Pokémon Go, is a well-liked way to experience the Monster Hunter series on mobile. Now, players will face their toughest battle yet with the arrival of the powerful elder dragon Malzeno, kicking off a brand new in-game event!
Despite its impressive size and regal appearance, Malzeno is incredibly dangerous. It hunts at night, draining the life force of other creatures, similar to a vampire. When enraged, it transforms into a terrifying, blood-red form called the Bloodening – a truly frightening sight on a dark night.
Good news for Monster Hunter World players: when the new monster Malzeno arrives on November 20th as part of Elder Dragon Interceptions, there will be a special event to celebrate! The Autumn Hunt 2025 is an online event that costs $8.99 to enter, and it comes with some helpful rewards for participating.
Spooky dragons and lots of blood
What kind of benefits? Well, to start, there are no cooldowns for joining Elder Dragon Interceptions or Hunt-a-thons, while interceptions will only feature Malzeno. You can earn other special rewards too, such as layered equipment based on the blood-draining dragon and an exclusive event sticker.
The Autumn Hunt event takes place November 20-21 and November 22-23. Be sure to check our list of promo codes to get equipped and prepare to battle Malzeno as the days get shorter and the monster’s hunting season begins.
