5 Emmerdale spoilers next week

1. Kev Townsend threatens Aaron Dingle as new Robert Sugden betrayal is revealed

Chas Dingle is pushing Aaron to say sorry to Vinny and talk about what happened with Robert.

Vinny pretended not to notice Aaron, but Kev was watching him with anger, realizing Aaron had revealed the news about his wedding.

I was in the café when things got really awkward. Aaron and Robert were already clearly on edge, and then DS Carter showed up to question Kev about what happened to an old friend – someone had been attacked, and the atmosphere just got heavier.

At the Woolpack pub, Aaron apologized to Vinny, and Vinny accepted. However, the brief moment of peace didn’t last, as Robert and Kev soon showed up.

Aaron falls apart when he realizes Robert has confided in Kev about his difficult childhood with his father, Gordon. Afterwards, a devastated Aaron finds comfort in Chas.

Why would Robert share details about Aaron’s past trauma with Kev, especially considering how careful he’s always been to respect Aaron’s privacy?

At Mill flat, Kev threatened Aaron, warning him to stay away from him and Robert.

When Robert bumps into Aaron the next day, he’s troubled to hear of Kev’s threats.

Robert confronted Kev about his threats, and the situation quickly escalated, especially when Aaron showed up.

Robert felt relieved when Kev rejected Aaron’s advances, while Aaron shared his concerns about Kev with Mack.

Mack visits Kev to fight Aaron’s corner, but how will Kev react?

2. April Windsor and Dylan Penders plan an escape as villain Ray Walters dates Laurel Thomas

Dylan was rushing to the Depot and quickly tried to pass information on to someone outside, which annoyed Ray, who told him to focus on what was most important.

After questioning Kev, Detective Sergeant Carter spotted Ray on the other side of Main Street. Ray quickly got rid of the backpack Dylan had given him and went to talk to Carter.

Carter watches Ray leave, meaning he can’t retrieve his bag.

Vinny and Lewis Barton are starting to resist Ross’s attempts to control them, but Ross offers to help carry some bags inside – including the one Ray accidentally left by the wall.

I saw the backpack at Dale View, and I was about to grab it, but Ross stopped me. So, I told Dylan to go get it instead.

Dylan attempted to persuade Vinny to let him inside, but was unsuccessful. He then stole Vinny’s keys while they were both at the shop.

At the same time, Ray asks April to meet someone, and she’s worried but clearly has no choice.

Dylan noticed April seemed upset and asked what was wrong, but she brushed it off. He then went to Dale View to investigate, but couldn’t find anything and had to return to Ray, who scolded him for coming back empty-handed.

Dylan then reveals to April that he did find the bag and took all the money, hoping they can escape together.

But as the teens put their plan into action, they get a video message from Ray.

Can Dylan and April get away?

And as Ray goes for a drink with Laurel, are we about to see a different side to him?

3. Kerry Wyatt and Jai Sharma are trapped together at the depot

Jai criticizes Kerry for being late, but then quickly asks Billy Fletcher to lie for her after getting a call from Matty Barton.

Kerry, Matty, and Jacob Gallagher (played by Joe-Warren Plant) reviewed the report about the limousine crash. Afterwards, Kerry attempted to lift Matty’s spirits by suggesting they play a drinking game.

Kerry lost their job after being seen drinking, even though Jai had tried to reach out, and without anyone understanding what Kerry was going through.

Jacob and Matty are worried about Kerry. Meanwhile, Caleb insists Jai give Kerry her job back, and Jai, feeling humiliated, has to officially apologize to her.

Kerry gloats over her victory at the Woolpack, but is confused when Jai calls it ‘pyrrhic’.

It quickly becomes apparent that Jai intends to make Kerry’s job miserable, so Kerry decides to resign and leave.

But Kerry accidentally pulls the handle off the door, leaving her and Jai trapped.

With nothing better to do, will the pair make amends?

4. Ruby Miligan and Caleb Miligan are at loggerheads over stowaway Anya

Ruby is fuming with Caleb when she finds Anya packing, and insists she can stay.

Ruby rows with Caleb, who is later annoyed to find Anya still at Mill Cottage.

Caleb and Ruby started arguing again, and Anya realized she was overstaying her welcome. She quietly left, and they didn’t notice she was gone right away.

Caleb tries to convince Ruby it’s for the best that Anya left, but Ruby storms out.

When Ruby returns, Caleb apologises for not understanding her point of view.

But is this the last we’ve seen of Anya?

5. Mackenzie Boyd and Ross Barton strike up surprise friendship amid Charity Dingle’s baby secret

Mack and Ross show early signs of a surprising friendship.

Honestly, things haven’t been right between them ever since Ross came back last year. It all comes down to Ross’s son, Moses – who Mack is helping to raise – they just constantly clash over him. It’s a really strained relationship, to say the least.

Things are finally looking up for Ross and Mack as they start to connect, but a major secret threatens to tear them apart: Ross has gotten Mack’s wife, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), pregnant!

Ross believes he’s safe now that Charity manipulated the DNA test results, but it’s only a matter of time before the deception comes to light.
