7 Marvel Villains Darkseid Would Dominate

Darkseid is a supremely powerful and evil being who has repeatedly threatened to destroy the entire DC Multiverse. He commands vast armies led by the formidable elites of his home planet, Apokolips, and possesses technology far beyond anything found on Earth. Darkseid isn’t just a commander; he’s a massively powerful warrior capable of single-handedly battling and defeating the entire Justice League and many other powerful heroes. He’s a nearly perfect villain, making him incredibly difficult to defeat.

Darkseid is a major villain in DC Comics, and his power would make him a threat in any universe, including Marvel. While Marvel and DC are different, Darkseid would still face new obstacles and enemies. Despite this, his immense power means he could easily defeat several Marvel villains – here are seven who wouldn’t stand a chance.

7) Abomination

The Hulk often faces tough enemies, including those with powers similar to his own. One of his strongest opponents is the Abomination, a massively strong villain who can go toe-to-toe with the Hulk. However, unlike the Hulk, the Abomination doesn’t get stronger when he gets angrier, which has hurt him in fights. This weakness would be a major disadvantage against Darkseid. Darkseid regularly battles opponents far more powerful than the Abomination – Superman can move planets, and Darkseid is even stronger. In reality, the Abomination wouldn’t stand much of a chance against Darkseid; the power difference is so vast that Darkseid would likely defeat him very quickly.

6) Doctor Doom

Doctor Doom is one of Marvel’s most famous and formidable villains. While a battle between Doom and Darkseid is interesting to consider, Darkseid is simply on a different power level. Even with all of Doom’s magical abilities and advanced technology, he wouldn’t be able to significantly harm Darkseid. Doom’s armor, though incredibly strong, isn’t as durable as Superman’s, giving Darkseid a clear advantage. Darkseid’s Omega Beams could likely destroy Doom’s armor in a single blast. If Doom had time to prepare and study Darkseid, he might stand a better chance, but ultimately, Darkseid’s superior power would likely overwhelm him. Doom would fight valiantly, but Darkseid is too powerful.

5) Knull

Knull, the God of Symbiotes, is a remarkably powerful villain Marvel has introduced recently. He demonstrated his immense strength by effortlessly defeating the Sentry, a hero comparable to Superman. This raises the question of whether Knull could challenge Darkseid, another incredibly powerful being. However, Darkseid is virtually invulnerable, and Knull likely wouldn’t be able to find a way to defeat him. Furthermore, Knull’s signature weapon – the Symbiotes – wouldn’t be effective against Darkseid. In a direct confrontation, Darkseid would simply overpower Knull. While Knull is a formidable threat, Darkseid operates on a completely different scale of power.

4) Apocalypse

Apocalypse is a major X-Men villain known for his incredible power. He’s exceptionally strong and resilient thanks to his mutant abilities, which also include psychic powers and control over his own body at a molecular level. He’s further enhanced by advanced Celestial technology, specifically armor that’s nearly indestructible. While Apocalypse’s armor could withstand a lot of damage – even from a being as powerful as Darkseid – it wouldn’t be enough to save him. Darkseid is simply on a different power scale; the armor might extend the battle, but it wouldn’t change the outcome. Apocalypse is strong, but Darkseid is a god-like being.

3) Juggernaut

Juggernaut is a tremendously powerful being, essentially the physical form of the ancient god Cyttorak. He’s incredibly strong and nearly invulnerable, and once he starts moving, he can’t be stopped. While he’s defeated powerful heroes like the Hulk and Thor in the past, they’ve both become significantly stronger recently, putting them in a different league. Compared to someone like Darkseid, however, Juggernaut doesn’t quite measure up. A fight between them would be brutal, mostly because Juggernaut can withstand a lot of punishment. He lacks the power to truly harm Darkseid, and Darkseid would ultimately overwhelm him with superior strength and power. Juggernaut is durable, but Darkseid is simply on another level.

2) Loki

Loki has appeared in many different forms throughout the years and is known as one of the most formidable villains in comics. While both Loki and Darkseid are gods, which might seem like a fair match, Darkseid still has a significant advantage. Loki isn’t as physically strong as even his brother Thor, making him even weaker than Darkseid. Although Loki is a powerful magician, Darkseid isn’t vulnerable to magic. Loki typically wins fights by outsmarting opponents, but that strategy wouldn’t work against Darkseid, who is impossible to manipulate. This would leave Loki facing a physical battle he’s destined to lose.

1) Thanos

Thanos and Darkseid are similar villains – both incredibly strong, durable, and intelligent with access to immense cosmic power. Thanos typically wins his fights, and is usually only defeated when opponents cleverly outmaneuver him. However, Darkseid is a true god, making him far more powerful. While a battle between them would be epic, Darkseid’s sheer power would ultimately overwhelm Thanos.
