Looking for the best weapon combinations in New World: Aeternum’s Season 10? You’ve found the right guide.
Even though the season just started, some weapon combinations are proving much stronger than others. A few of these are currently overpowering the competition!
Which ones are those? Well, read on and we’ll let you know all about them.
Top 5 Weapon Combos in Season 10 | New World: Aeternum
5) Life Staff + Void Gauntlets

First, we want to recognize all the players using the Life Staff and Void Gauntlet combination – healers are incredibly valuable, and almost every group needs one!
The Life Staff isn’t the most versatile weapon in the game, but it’s the only one specifically designed for healing. If your role is healer, you’ll definitely be using this weapon.
Void Gauntlets really strengthen the support role. They offer powerful ways to control enemies, boost your teammates, weaken opponents, and even provide additional healing!
If you’re looking to play a healer or support role, the Life Staff combined with Void Gauntlets is an excellent choice. Healers are crucial in the game, making this a strong and worthwhile combination.
4) Sword + Flail and Shield

Tanks are just as crucial as healers, so we’re highlighting a powerful option for them! Combining a Sword, Flail, and Shield creates a really effective tank build. If you play a tank using this combination, you’ll provide a lot of helpful support to your team.
Okay, so when I’m choosing a weapon, the Sword is my go-to for straight-up damage and keeping enemies focused on me, plus it gives my team some nice buffs. But if I need to really mess with enemies and wear them down, the Flail is awesome. It doesn’t do as much raw damage, but it disrupts them really well, and it even gives me and my allies a little bit of healing, which is super handy.
A tank using this weapon setup is a valuable addition to any group. It significantly improves the team’s ability to stay alive, and with the right build, can even boost the team’s damage.
3) Hatchet + Fire Staff

Combining the Hatchet with the Fire Staff is a strong weapon choice right now, though the Fire Staff itself doesn’t contribute a huge amount to that power.
The Hatchet is a powerful weapon for dealing damage, largely because it can quickly apply Rend, which weakens enemies’ defenses. This also benefits your teammates, boosting the overall damage your group can inflict!
The Hatchet’s features work together to help you inflict significant damage without much difficulty. It’s also a reliable weapon for staying alive!
When used with the Hatchet, the Fire Staff isn’t the primary damage dealer – it mostly helps support the Hatchet’s attacks.
Combining the Inferno Artifact and the Hatchet grants you a damage boost of around 15% that lasts for a very long time. If you’re interested in dealing a lot of damage with this combination, we’ve created a guide to help you get started!
2) Rapier + Bow

This weapon pairing is proving to be very effective right now. These two thrusting weapons work together surprisingly well, offering players a lot of different strategies.
Let’s start with the Rapier. It’s primarily a defensive weapon, excelling at dodging attacks and countering with skills like Evade and Riposte. It’s especially useful for creating space when enemies get too close, like if you’re trying to use a bow.
The Bow is the primary source of damage in this setup. Bows are incredibly powerful right now, capable of dealing huge damage with each shot. We even have a build that demonstrates just how strong they can be – it can eliminate enemies with a single hit!
Bows aren’t very effective at close range, but thankfully you have a Rapier for those situations. You can use the Rapier to deliver the final blow to an enemy or create some distance so you can get back to safely using your Bow.
This weapon combination is incredibly strong and adaptable. It’s also frustrating to fight against in player-versus-player combat because it lets you move quickly while inflicting a lot of damage.
1) Blunderbuss + Fire Staff

The Blunderbuss and Fire Staff take the top spot on our list. This combination quickly became incredibly powerful in Season 10, and we’ve even created a build specifically for Player versus Environment (PvE) content to showcase its potential.
Honestly, this weapon combo is amazing, and it all comes down to the Inferno Artifact for the Fire Staff. It’s just that good and really makes everything click. As a fan, I can tell you it’s a game-changer!
This weapon isn’t just a bonus to your primary one – it’s genuinely useful on its own! The recent changes mean Fire Staffs now scale with both Strength and Intelligence, and that lines up perfectly with the Blunderbuss’s stats.
However, the 15% damage boost from the Inferno is a great addition. It significantly improves the Blunderbuss, greatly increasing its damage output.
Plus, you get two weapons that offer a ton of flexibility! This combination is easily one of the most powerful you can use in Season 10.
Here are our picks for the 5 strongest weapon combinations in New World: Aeternum’s Season 10. Keep in mind that things can change! It’s still early in the season, and updates or balance changes could shift what’s most effective over time.
