This exciting news comes straight from publisher Clear River Games, with both Western and Japanese audiences getting to experience the game simultaneously on its release date. In North America, Limited Run Games is going to offer both standard versions and “Underworld” editions of the game Mamorukun ReCurse!, for both PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. The pre-order process will commence on July 15th.

Plunge into a refreshed version of a popular arcade shooter from yesteryears, known as a cult classic, and prepare for an exhilarating journey through stunning landscapes, bizarre beings, and barrages of bullets. Your objective is to rescue the Netherworld and close the portal to the Realm of Darkness. The protagonist, Mamoru, revives in the Netherworld post his untimely demise. Soon after, he meets three fresh allies. Fululu, the spirited one among them, quickly informs you that they – Mayuno, Kinya, and Beniko – are your only hope to thwart the impending darkness threatening to engulf the Netherworld.
