Now, a particularly noteworthy and free-to-stream addition to the world of experimental and surreal cinema from director David Lynch is available.
David Lynch’s debut feature film, Eraserhead, became available to stream on Tubi on October 6th. The critically acclaimed, black-and-white surrealist horror film has an 87% rating from critics and an 82% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Known as one of Lynch’s most unusual movies, it stars Jack Nance as Henry Spencer, a man struggling to cope with his job, his girlfriend, and the birth of his strangely deformed baby. The film also features performances by Charlotte Stewart, Jeanne Bates, Judith Anna Roberts, Laurel Near, and Jack Fisk, and has gained a devoted cult following.
