Daredevil Star Spoils Return of Iconic Netflix Villain In MCU Phase 6

A key actor from the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again has revealed the return of his Marvel villain in a Disney+ series planned for Phase 6. Charlie Cox is back as Daredevil, continuing the story from the original three seasons that aired on Netflix. Along with Daredevil, other characters from his world are returning, including Wilson Bethel as Bullseye. Bullseye immediately made an impact in Daredevil: Born Again by killing Foggy Nelson, and he remained a threat throughout the first season, still at large in the finale.

Wilson Bethel has hinted that Bullseye will be a wilder, more unpredictable character in the second season of Daredevil: Born Again. He mentioned that the show will explore aspects of Bullseye’s personality that viewers haven’t seen before. Though details about his storyline are still being kept under wraps, it appears Bullseye is already confirmed to return in future installments.

I was so excited to hear Wilson Bethel, who plays Bullseye, announce at Spacecon (through Nerdtropolis) that he’ll be back for Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 in 2027! This is huge news because it means Dex Poindexter’s story isn’t ending anytime soon – definitely not after Season 2! It sounds like we’ll be seeing a lot more of him in the future.

Just a quick update: we’re excited to announce that we’ve been renewed for another season, which we’ll begin filming next year! You can look forward to more of Bullseye, Kingpin, and all your favorite segments.

Okay, so I just heard some news about Daredevil: Born Again that might be a bit of a spoiler, but it’s interesting. Apparently, Bullseye isn’t going to die in Season 2! As a fan, I’m a little worried about that. It feels like it lowers the tension if he’s just going to pop up again in Season 3 – which, from what I understand, is one of the last TV shows Marvel’s planning for Phase 6. It’s good to see him back, but I hope they still make his return feel impactful.

Bethel also generated excitement about Bullseye’s return in Season 2, hinting that the show will delve further into the character’s troubled mind.

Great news! The next season will be released next year. We’re going to delve deeper into Dex’s complex personality and explore some exciting new directions for both Bullseye and Dex.

The Marvel actor also shared that the second season of Daredevil: Born Again will feature an incredibly exciting fight scene with Bullseye, promising it will be the best one fans have ever witnessed.

Spacecon Host: “Any physical changes or some new looks or anything?”

Wilson Bethel shared that his character will be getting calf implants, and he’s excited about what’s coming in the new season of the show, which premieres in March. He believes the upcoming season features some of the best action sequences yet, including a particularly impressive fight scene with Bullseye – one he describes as incredibly awesome. Overall, he says there’s a lot for fans to anticipate.

Wilson Fisk, also known as Bullseye, is coming back in Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again, and he’ll continue seeking revenge against Mayor Fisk and Vanessa while trying to stay hidden from the authorities in New York City.

The new Marvel series, Daredevil: Born Again, is set to premiere on Disney+ in March 2026. The show will follow Daredevil as he works to assemble a team to oppose Mayor Fisk and his efforts to crack down on vigilantes. The season promises a star-studded cast including returning favorites Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Krysten Ritter, as well as new additions Deborah Wall, Jon Bernthal, and Michael Gandolfini.

What Bullseye’s Return in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 Means

As expected, Bullseye survived and will be back for Season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again. His return sets the stage for even more intense conflicts with Daredevil, as well as with Mayor Fisk and Vanessa, in the show’s next season.

Season 2 could see Bullseye and Daredevil forced to work together, as both are now fugitives wanted by Mayor Fisk, who has imposed martial law on New York City. But this alliance likely won’t last, and could set up a more intense, personal conflict between them in Season 3.

Considering Bullseye’s instability, the villain’s surprising new abilities, and his strong desire for revenge, Dex might harm Vanessa in Season 2 to get Mayor Fisk’s attention. This could then lead him to renew his pursuit of Daredevil in Season 3.

One thing I’m really hoping to see in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is Bullseye crossing paths with other street-level heroes like Jessica Jones or the Punisher. Imagine the possibilities! It would open up a ton of fresh story ideas and give us some seriously exciting new action scenes – a welcome change of pace, and a great way to expand the universe.
