Vicki Fowler (played by Alice Haig) was very upset after another conflict with Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) on Monday’s episode of EastEnders.
The two women have a long-standing feud, recently erupting into a fight over the death of Vicki’s father, Den Watts, who died 20 years ago. Fans of the show will remember that Zoe was at the scene the night Den died and initially thought she was responsible.
Even after twenty years, Vicki hadn’t forgiven what happened. Her sister Sharon (Letitia Dean) quickly found herself caught up in Zoe’s troubles as well.
Zoe remembered having twins in 2006, claiming Sharon’s late husband, Dennis (played by Nigel Harman), who was also her adoptive brother, was the father.
Sharon really wanted a connection with Dennis’s son and offered to pay for a private investigator to find him. He was Dennis’s only child, and she hoped to be a part of his life.
Last week, Zoe confessed to her mother, Kat Moon, that she hadn’t been truthful. She’d told a small lie while trying to get back together with her son’s father, revealing that Dennis wasn’t actually the father of her baby.
Tonight on the show, Kat and her husband Alfie (Shane Richie) worried that Zoe taking advantage of Sharon would cause trouble later, and they advised her to stop meeting with the private investigator. However, being Zoe, she ignored their advice.
Vicki came back to Albert Square from a trip to the Lake District without Sharon, and explained to Ian Beale that she was going to try and get DNA samples from her granddaughter, Alyssa. She hoped this would help her locate Zoe’s missing son.

To make matters worse, she’d cashed in an ISA to be able to fund the extra search effort.
Ian felt bad about letting Vicki’s ex, Ross Marshall (played by Alex Walkinshaw), stay with him after their split, and surprisingly offered to pay Sharon some money to help her out.
Vicki went to The Vic to talk to Kat about Ian’s surprisingly kind offer. Zoe secretly listened from the stairs as Kat tried to refuse it. Vicki pressed for answers, and even though Zoe tried to stop her, Kat eventually explained what happened.
Yikes!
Will Vicki tell Sharon?
