FM26 Mobile: Netflix release date and what to expect

FM26 Mobile is a streamlined version of the popular Football Manager game, designed for playing on phones and tablets – and it’s currently the best way to enjoy FM while traveling, until the full console version arrives on Switch.

So, the Football Manager series is getting a huge update before FM26 comes out, and I’m already excited to dive back in for another year of managing my team on the go!

I’ve been getting a lot of questions about when Football Manager 2026 Mobile is coming out, and if it’s still available on Netflix. So, I’ve put together everything you need to know!

When is the FM26 Mobile release date? Netflix subscription explained

FM26 Mobile will be available on both iOS and Android devices on November 4th, 2025 – the same day the complete version of FM26 launches.

When FM Mobile first launched, you could buy it outright on your phone or tablet. However, for the past several years, it’s only been available through a subscription to Netflix.

Football Manager 2026 Mobile will only be playable for Netflix subscribers through the Netflix Games app. While this is a perk for those already using Netflix, players who don’t subscribe won’t be able to access the game on mobile devices this year.

What to expect from FM26 Mobile

Honestly, we haven’t learned much about FM26 Mobile. Sports Interactive has been concentrating most of their efforts on the PC and console versions of the game.

However, we do know a few details. Specifically, the official Football Manager website announced that this version will be the only FM26 game not built on the Unity engine.

Women’s football is being added to FM26 Mobile for the first time ever, appearing alongside the traditional men’s game.

Football Manager 26 Mobile will be the first game in the series to let you continue your progress from a previous save. You’ll be able to load your existing Football Manager 24 Mobile game and carry on managing your team in the new version.

We’re also updating the game’s interface, though not as dramatically as the core gameplay, to improve the experience for mobile players.
