Gigi Paris has a new man in her life.
More than two years after splitting from Glen Powell, model Jeanne Kadlec debuted a new relationship on the red carpet. She attended the 2025 Angel Ball in New York City on October 27th with NFL player Cooper Helfet.
Gigi, 32, wore a beige silk dress by L’Agence and accessorized with a stunning emerald and diamond necklace. Her partner, a former Seattle Seahawks tight end, looked sharp in a classic black suit and a yellow patterned tie.
This is Gigi’s first public relationship since her breakup with Glen. That split happened partly because of rumors that Glen was romantically involved with his Anyone But You co-star, Sydney Sweeney.
And Gigi hasn’t been shy about sharing how she felt about the rumors from the time.
She explained on the Too Much podcast that she faced a difficult choice. She could either act like she was fine with a situation and let everyone speculate about what was happening, or she could be honest about her feelings and remove herself. Ultimately, she chose to stand up for herself and walk away.
But, she confessed, “I was shattered.”
Gigi said she simply wanted to be treated with respect, particularly when things were being discussed publicly. She felt it was unfair to be made to look foolish, especially considering she’d been in a relationship for over three years where they talked about a future together. She wished for a little consideration, but ultimately felt like her partner prioritized work above everything else. Because of that, she decided she needed to end the relationship.

The 32-year-old explained that the worst part wasn’t the situation itself, but how it was dealt with. He felt like he was being thrown into a difficult and unfair position without support.
Glen, the star of Top Gun: Maverick, told GQ magazine in September that he will always feel love and respect for her.
He added that everyone will naturally have their own perspective, and she’s free to have hers.
It’s tough when relationships end. After a breakup, each person usually has their own way of seeing what happened and their own story to tell, often shared with friends over brunch.

As Glen pointed out, he and Sydney were aware that the gossip surrounding Anyone But You actually encouraged people to go see the movie.
According to a 2024 interview with The New York Times, the key to a successful romantic comedy is having fun and believable chemistry between the leads. He explained that he and Sydney have both of those things in abundance, which creates a connection with the audience that extends beyond the screen. He believes embracing that natural dynamic was crucial to their success, and praised Sydney as being very intelligent.

Emma Watson has revealed she had a childhood crush on her Harry Potter co-star, Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy. During the 20th anniversary special, she admitted to falling in love with him while filming Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. She used to check the daily filming schedule hoping to see his name (number 7) listed, as it made the day more exciting. While he saw her as a younger sister, fans quickly began hoping for a real-life romance after the special aired. However, Emma has clarified that they remain close friends, speaking weekly, and that the idea of them dating is just a sweet thought.

Remember how Ross and Rachel seemed like they could have been a real-life couple? During the Friends reunion on HBO Max, Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer – the actors who played them – revealed they actually did have feelings for each other early on in the show. David explained they both had a crush, but timing never worked out because one of them was always dating someone else. They always respected those boundaries. Jennifer recalled joking that it would be awkward if their first kiss was on national television – and that’s exactly what happened, during a scene in the coffee shop! Instead of pursuing a relationship themselves, they put all their affection into portraying Ross and Rachel’s romance.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet are arguably the most famous on-screen couple ever, and fans have been hoping they’d get together since their 1996 film, Titanic (even playfully teasing Kate about the door!). Despite that, they’ve remained close friends, with Kate recently sharing that they share a lifelong bond. From their red carpet appearances at the 1998 Golden Globes to DiCaprio sending Winslet supportive kisses during her emotional 2009 Golden Globes acceptance speech, it’s clear their connection has only deepened over the last twenty-plus years.

The intense chemistry between the actors in the 2019 film A Star Is Born, and the attention they received during interviews and appearances, led many fans to overlook the fact that both were already in relationships at the time – Bradley Cooper with Irina Shayk and Lady Gaga with Christian Carano. Despite this, Gaga later shared that she felt an immediate and strong connection with Cooper from the moment they met. This closeness was particularly evident during their memorable performance of their award-winning song, “Shallow,” at the 2019 Oscars, which happened shortly after Gaga ended her engagement.
Following their performance, Lady Gaga quickly dismissed rumors of a romance with Bradley Cooper, playfully telling Jimmy Kimmel that they intentionally created the impression of a connection. Cooper, who later split from Irina Shayk that year, hadn’t spoken about the speculation until November 2021, when he told The Hollywood Reporter that the chemistry was part of the act. He explained that their characters in the film were falling in love during that scene, and the onstage moment was meant to be an explosive portrayal of that connection. He joked that it would have been awkward if they hadn’t appeared to be engaged with each other while performing in front of such a large audience.

Oh my gosh, Keanu and Sandra! Ever since Speed came out in ’94, everyone’s been hoping they were secretly in love, and honestly, I was too! It breaks my heart a little, but Sandra has said they were never actually a couple. She told Esquire it was more like… a beautiful friendship. She said Keanu’s friends with every woman he’s ever known, and I totally believe it! She even wondered if they could have made it work, but they never needed to. They just… grew up alongside each other, supporting each other’s careers. And the more she gets to know him, the more she admires him! Can you imagine if he’d hurt her? She probably wouldn’t feel that way. They also did The Lake House together, and they’re still so close! She says he’s an amazing listener. But here’s the sweetest part: about a year after Speed, she casually mentioned she’d never had champagne and truffles, and he actually sent them to her! With flowers! He just wanted her to try them! Seriously, is he even real? It’s the most thoughtful thing ever, and it just proves what everyone already knows: Keanu Reeves is a genuine angel.

Fans adore seeing Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling together on screen, having starred as love interests in three movies, including La La Land. Though they’ve never been a couple in real life, working together has created a strong connection between them. At the 2018 Telluride Film Festival, Emma shared how much Ryan means to her and how he’s influenced her life and career, calling him a “dear, wonderful friend.” She admitted she couldn’t imagine her life without him, and said he’s incredibly special.
Before La La Land came out in 2016, Emma jokingly told TopMob News that Ryan had to get a restraining order against her because of how often they worked together.
Despite the joke, Ryan said he enjoys working with Emma, explaining that their familiarity allows them to bring out the best in each other in a way that wouldn’t be possible with a stranger.

Jim and Pam, from the TV show The Office, are one of television’s most popular couples, and fans loved watching their relationship develop over the show’s nine seasons.
Despite the strong chemistry between their characters, actors John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer never became romantically involved. However, Jenna admitted in 2016 that they shared a genuine connection. She explained that parts of her and John embodied Jim and Pam, and those parts felt a real love for each other. But they weren’t perfect matches as people, and their connection was more like a long-term partnership.
John later clarified Jenna’s comments in an interview, saying he thought her words were taken out of context and he felt bad that she was misquoted. He emphasized that they both felt honored to have played such a beloved couple.
Their story, and the memories of it, will always remain special to fans.

Lady Gaga isn’t the first actress Bradley Cooper has been rumored to be romantically involved with. His chemistry with Jennifer Lawrence in films like Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle led to years of speculation.
Back in 2015, Howard Stern even directly asked Bradley, “When are you two gonna have sex? Everyone is waiting for that.” Bradley immediately shut it down, saying, “Never. It’s just not the way we are together.”
Similarly, at the 2013 Golden Globes, when Entertainment Tonight asked if he and Jennifer were dating, Bradley jokingly replied, “Oh my god. That’s very funny. No, my God, no.”

Although Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson starred together in the 2006 romantic comedy How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and fans hoped they’d become a couple in real life, they never dated. In a 2020 interview with Howard Stern, Matthew explained that he generally avoids dating coworkers, preferring to keep things professional. He admitted there might have been some mutual crushes over time, but they always maintained a professional relationship.
And with that, the chance for their love to blossom died, just like that love fern.

These famous friends have amazing chemistry on screen – think Ocean’s Eleven – and that connection extends to their real-life friendship. They’re always laughing in interviews, giving each other glowing praise in public, and George Clooney even lets the Roberts-Moder family use his beautiful home on Lake Como to celebrate their anniversaries. It’s a testament to how close they are!

Every New Year’s Eve, people often speculate about whether close friends and CNN’s Live From Times Square co-hosts, Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper, have ever been more than just friends.
During an interview on Howard Stern’s radio show, Andy was asked why he and Anderson haven’t dated. He explained that their relationship is simply a strong friendship, and they’ve known each other for so long that romantic attraction isn’t part of the equation.
Interestingly, they were originally set up on a blind date over 25 years ago.
Anderson recalled on The Tonight Show in 2017 that when straight friends try to match up two gay men, they often suggest they meet. He added that during a phone call to arrange the date, he realized within 45 seconds that he wouldn’t be going out with Andy.
He explained that Andy made a dating faux pas by immediately asking about Anderson’s mother, Gloria Vanderbilt.
Andy jokingly admitted he was excited about the possibility of dating someone from the Vanderbilt family!

Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt had a great time filming the 2009 movie 500 Days of Summer, but Joseph later confessed in a 2012 Playboy interview that dating Zooey, who was also a close friend, would have been difficult. He acknowledged that fans often wished they were a couple, saying they both found it amusing, especially considering their decade-long friendship.

Before Zac Efron officially dated his High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens, many people wondered if he was involved with their close friend, Ashley. The rumors started when he appeared as her love interest on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody in 2006.
Even now, Zac and Ashley remain very close, with Ashley often referring to him as her “brother/best friend.” However, she did reveal in an Elle interview that he was her worst onscreen kiss.
She explained that it felt awkward because they were so close, and he was used to a different style of acting on a different network. She said he tried to kiss her with his tongue, which prompted her to quickly tell him to stop, reminding him they were on Disney Channel and kissing like that wasn’t appropriate.
Ashley added that their close relationship made the experience especially strange, as they’d already worked together and known each other for years. She felt they were simply too close for a romantic kiss.

Though they played a couple – Chad and Taylor – on High School Musical, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman remained close friends after leaving the Disney series.
The pair recently shared the screen again in the 2021 Lifetime Christmas movie, A Christmas Dance Reunion. Corbin shared on Instagram that working and dancing with Monique after 13 years felt like “coming home,” and that starring in a Lifetime Christmas movie had always been a dream, especially alongside someone he considers a favorite person.
Monique is eager to collaborate with “one of her best friends” again, telling People magazine that they have a special chemistry, similar to iconic movie couples like Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, and Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. She believes they have the potential for a similar on-screen partnership and hopes they get the chance to work together again.

Despite playing the famously uncertain couple on The X-Files, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reportedly didn’t get along during filming. In a 2008 interview with Metro UK, David admitted they frequently argued for the first eight years of the show, explaining that being around each other so much led to irritation. He clarified it wasn’t personal, saying they would argue over trivial things and “couldn’t stand the sight of each other.”
Despite their on-set tension, fans continued to root for Mulder and Scully to become a couple, both within the show and in real life. A photo from their lunch date in May 2021 went viral, which David found amusing. He told People that Gillian suggested they take the photo, and he was surprised by the huge reaction it received, noting it was “really cool” to see continued interest in their relationship after so many years.

As a longtime fan of Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans, I’ve always loved their on-screen chemistry! It’s amazing to think they’ve worked together in eight films since they first met on the set of The Perfect Score back in 2004, but they’ve never actually dated. Still, they clearly have a really comfortable connection. Scarlett actually explained it perfectly in an interview with Entertainment Weekly a while back. She said their chemistry comes from years of knowing each other – a real intimacy that just builds when you spend a lot of time with someone and truly understand them.
