What to expect from The Simpsons in Fortnite
Instead of typical collaborations that only include small items or a single new enemy, the upcoming Simpsons event is expected to be a substantial addition to the game – almost like a mini-season, similar to the annual Star Wars event.
Popular Fortnite data miner NotPalo reports that the game’s map will soon become a version of Springfield, featuring well-known spots from the show like the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant.
The game’s entire world will apparently use cel shading to match the look of The Simpsons cartoon.
The game will also feature Simpsons characters as playable skins, and each one will have their own unique LEGO versions.
While it’s not official, most people expect Homer and Marge Simpson skins to be released.
It initially seemed unlikely that Bart and Lisa would get playable characters in the game due to their height. However, a leaked image of a Bart skin reveals he’ll be using a mechanical suit, bringing him up to the same height as the other characters.
Given the wealth of iconic supporting characters, we expect to see even more skins released, potentially including favorites like Moe Szyslak, Principal Skinner, Ned Flanders, and Krusty the Clown.
