Why Is Drum Island Special in One Piece?

Watching the beginning of One Piece as Luffy and his crew enter the Grand Line is exciting because you know they’re about to encounter characters who will be really important later on. A major moment happens on Drum Island with the introduction of Tony Tony Chopper, who becomes the next member of the Straw Hat crew. It’ll be interesting to see how the live-action series handles this part, as it feels like a crucial scene they need to get right before moving forward with the story.
Good news for fans: Netflix has confirmed a third season of One Piece is coming, and they’re already hard at work on it! If the anime and manga are any indication, the live-action series is going to take viewers on an incredible journey. Now’s a great time to rewatch the first season, which is currently available on Netflix, to get ready.
