Netflix has been experimenting with mobile games based on its popular shows and movies, but these haven’t been very successful. Recently, Netflix closed down Boss Fight Entertainment, the studio behind games like Squid Game: Unleashed. Now, it seems Netflix is considering letting other developers create games based on its popular titles for consoles and other platforms, instead of keeping them exclusive to mobile devices.
Netflix now owns the rights to a lot of popular stories and characters, giving them many possibilities for a new game developed with Don’t Nod. For example, the hit movie K-Pop Demon Hunters and the Bridgerton series are both Netflix originals. However, despite all these options, fans have started to believe they know what this new game will be based on.
