Have you ever done a double-take at a gaming update before? Maybe today’s the first time.
The latest trailer for the PGA Tour 2K25 Season 4 update has a surprising twist – it’s styled like a trailer for the video game Borderlands 4.
It’s not surprising to see these two games cross over – both are published by Take-Two. However, despite being from the same publisher, they offer very different experiences, with one being a realistic golf simulator and the other a fast-paced, action-packed shooter.
Despite initial reservations, the publisher went ahead and combined everything, and the outcome is… certainly unique.
If you own a Clubhouse Pass, you’ll get a cool Bandit costume for your avatar, plus a special Borderlands-themed ball and a brand new shot to use in the game.

A new, challenging course called Barren Gorge has been added, along with character skins inspired by the Dark Siren and Timekeeper.
Even if you don’t like the Borderlands-themed items, the game’s store will also offer cosmetic items inspired by popular real-world brands, ensuring there’s something for all players.
It’s a bit wild, but we’re enjoying it! Especially now that PGA Tour 2K25 has been out for a while, it’s fun to just take risks and play without worrying too much.
