Now that pre-orders are open and Capcom plans to show off more of the game early next year, excitement is growing for the upcoming release of Resident Evil Requiem. They’ve also quietly posted the PC system requirements on Steam, and thankfully, they don’t seem too demanding.
To run this, you’ll need at least an Intel Core i5-8500 or AMD Ryzen 5 3500 processor, 16 GB of RAM, and a GeForce GTX 1660 (with 6 GB of memory) or Radeon RX 5500 XT (with 8 GB). For a smoother experience, we recommend an Intel Core i7-8700 or AMD Ryzen 5 5500, 16 GB of RAM, and either an RTX 2060 Super (8 GB) or a Radeon RX 6600 (8 GB). The amount of storage needed isn’t listed yet, as the game is still in development.
A major concern is that Windows 11 (64-bit) is now required to play the game. Microsoft no longer provides security updates for older operating systems, and because of this, Capcom recently announced it will stop supporting Windows 10 for Monster Hunter Wilds. While some users weren’t happy with this news, even paying for continued security updates for Windows 10 likely won’t allow you to play future Capcom games on PC.
Resident Evil Requiem arrives on February 27th, 2026, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
