Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner pulled off a gold medal-worthy surprise.
Caitlyn Jenner appeared on The Kardashians for the first time, invited by her ex-wife—with whom she shares Kendall Jenner, 29, and Kylie Jenner, 28—for a final family dinner at their old house in Calabasas before it was sold.
Kris told Kendall, Kylie, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob that she and her husband bought the house a long time ago. During a recent dinner, she mentioned she wished someone else could be there to say goodbye to the house with them.
Caitlyn walked into the house, surprising everyone because they weren’t expecting her.
Khloe admitted she was surprised by the evening’s events, joking that she half-expected another former husband to appear.
Kris, who shares her older children with her late ex-husband Robert Kardashian Sr., felt it was important to include Kourtney. She explained that saying goodbye to their childhood home wouldn’t be the same without her, and it was the right thing to do.
“It’s time to say goodbye to this wonderful house, which holds so many cherished memories for us,” the 69-year-old told the group. “We originally bought it with Kendall and Kylie in mind, hoping it would be a place where all the children could grow up and create special memories, and it certainly was.”
The show next showed the family’s mother speaking to the camera, explaining how Caitlyn made a surprise appearance before the meal.

Besides that, I always make an effort to include her,” Kendall explained. “I know she doesn’t have many activities or people outside of her family, and she sometimes feels lonely. It’s just really comforting to have her nearby.”
Kylie briefly shared her feelings about her parents getting back together, saying she hoped it would lead to a better future for them.
Through tears, Kris recounted a recent phone call with Caitlyn. She explained, ‘I asked her what she was up to, and she said she was eating dinner and watching Fox News.’ Kris continued, ‘I responded that wasn’t surprising, and then asked if she’d like to join us at El Dorado Meadow to say goodbye and spend time with the kids. She told me she was on her way.’
Kendall was happily surprised to see her dad at the event, admitting she hadn’t anticipated Caitlyn would be there.
She explained that her parents aren’t very close, but it’s not a negative relationship, just a distant one. Her mom has sometimes hesitated to invite her dad to family events, so she was glad that, for her and her sister Kylie’s event, their mom willingly included him without being asked.
She explained that she needs to separate her generally positive relationship with her 76-year-old father from the frustrations she feels when they disagree, as they often have very different opinions.

Kris, who was married to Caitlyn for 22 years before they separated in 2014, shared her thoughts on the evening, saying she was thankful everyone could be together.
“What a wonderful night,” she said. “I’m so glad we all got together to say goodbye to this house. It’s given us so many happy memories – through good times and bad, and a lot of hard work. It meant so much that Caitlyn could be here too. It’s been a long journey, and this house was special to her as well.”
You know, as someone who really values connection, I always make a point to include my sister. I’ve noticed she doesn’t have a huge social circle, and I think she gets lonely sometimes. Honestly, it just makes my life better to have her around, and I want her to feel that sense of belonging.

She admitted she wasn’t sure if her parents would ever fully reconcile, but she felt this was a positive start to improving their relationship.
After enjoying a meal and reminiscing, Caitlyn and Kris said goodbye with Caitlyn playfully telling Kris he owed her a favor.
