Eric Decker, Jessie James Decker Exit Special Forces After Injury

Eric Decker and Jessie James Decker are one ride-or-die couple.

The country singer remained with her husband as he left season four of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test after sustaining an injury during a difficult physical challenge on the October 30th episode.

The tenth and final celebrity contestants on the sixth day of the Fox competition series faced their toughest challenge yet: a grueling military exercise called “Murder Ball.” This involved a muddy, physical battle where they fought over a ball, designed to push their limits and test their resilience. Former NFL player Eric, who retired in 2018, was eager to see how his body would hold up.

Jessie observed that Eric hasn’t faced such a demanding physical test since his football days, and she hopes this experience will recapture that feeling for him.

After a tough workout involving multiple rounds against his fellow cast members—including Andrew East, Randall Cobb, Mark Estes, and Kody Brown—Eric unfortunately injured his back.

The father of four was so tired he could hardly walk back to camp after feeling a painful pop in his body.

Even though his back was cramping painfully, Eric was determined to keep competing.

He admitted he’d push himself to his absolute limit. He believes his determination and positive mindset will help him succeed, even though he knows it will be incredibly challenging. He plans to keep going until he physically can’t anymore.

Sadly, a visit to Dr. Andy Brown at Special Forces confirmed that his body had reached its limit.

The doctor told Eric that his hip couldn’t take any more stress and advised him to stop continuing with whatever was causing the pain. He was worried about causing further damage.

Eric had to stop competing on day six due to a medical issue, but he wanted everyone to know he wasn’t giving up.

When he broke the news to his wife, Jessie didn’t hesitate and replied, “I’m going with you.”

The singer voluntarily withdrew herself to return home and support her injured husband.

Holding hands as they left camp, Jessie sweetly said, “Wherever you go, I go with you.”
