Following several public outings together since this summer, Katy Perry gave a subtle nod to the former Canadian Prime Minister in her latest Instagram post—it was a quick, easily overlooked detail.

I was so excited to see what Katy Perry did for her 41st birthday on October 25th! She shared some photos from her celebrations, and it looked amazing. She went out looking incredible in a stunning red dress with a high slit and paired it with black heels. Then, she relaxed backstage at her Lifetimes Tour playing Monopoly Go with a glass of wine and, of course, a beautiful birthday cake! It looked like the perfect night.

In the cake video—where Katy blows out the candles and then playfully tries to throw the cake at a crew member—Justin can be briefly seen clapping and smiling in the background.

She captioned the Oct. 29 post, alongside a heart and lip-biting emoji, “Level 41.”

Katy and Justin were first publicly seen together during Katy’s birthday celebrations. On October 25th, they were photographed holding hands leaving a cabaret show at Crazy Horse Paris. Katy wore a red dress, while Justin kept it simple in a black suit and t-shirt, as pictures published by TMZ showed.

Before their public hand-holding, rumors about the couple started when they were photographed looking affectionate on Katy’s yacht. Pictures published by The Daily Mail on October 11th showed Katy, in a swimsuit, embracing a topless Justin. One photo captured them kissing, while another showed Justin playfully holding Katy’s rear.

Only two days after the photos became popular online, Katy Perry – who has a 5-year-old daughter named Daisy Dove with her former fiancé, Orlando Bloom – hinted at her new relationship while performing on her Lifetime Tour.

During her concert in London on October 13th, she playfully remarked, ‘Is this what London is like on a Monday night after a long day of work and school?’ She then added with a laugh, ‘It’s no surprise I’m always falling for English men!’

She then quipped, “But not anymore.” 

Regarding Orlando Bloom’s feelings about his ex-wife’s relationship with Justin Trudeau, who has three children – Xavier (17), Ella-Grace (16), and Hadrien (11) – with his ex-wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, Orlando has previously joked about the situation.

Following a joking social media post that claimed Orlando Bloom – who has a 14-year-old son, Flynn, with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr – had dinner with former German Chancellor Angela Merkel, he responded by posting a string of clapping hand emojis.
