Remember that giant leap for mankind? Well, Kim Kardashian isn’t so sure that step wasactually taken.
Kim, the star of All’s Fair, admitted she’s fascinated by conspiracy theories. She shares articles about them with her co-star, Sarah Paulson, constantly – even sending one recently about the belief that the 1969 moon landing was faked.
You know, after really thinking about it, I’m starting to believe the whole thing just didn’t happen as reported. Honestly, I suspect it was staged – totally fake, if you ask me. I shared this with Sarah recently, and it’s just how I feel about the situation now.
Kim mentioned Buzz Aldrin as proof, the astronaut who was the second person to walk on the moon, following Neil Armstrong.
She mentioned noticing several videos of Buzz Aldrin claiming the event didn’t actually occur. He frequently makes this claim in interviews now, so she suggested they try to locate him.
After suggesting her sister, Khloe Kardashian, invite the 95-year-old onto her podcast, Khloe in Wonder Land, Kim explained why people still believe the rumor.
She questioned the moon landing, pointing out inconsistencies like the lack of gravity, the waving flag, and differences in the astronauts’ shoe prints in photos versus those on display in museums. She also wondered why there were no stars visible in any of the images.
And for those who thinks she’s “crazy” for even suggesting such a notion, Kim isn’t fazed.
“They’re going to say I’m crazy no matter what,” she said. “But go to TikTok, see for yourself.”

Okay, so people have been saying for years that the moon landing was faked, and honestly, the conspiracy theories are wild! The biggest one? That Stanley Kubrick, the genius behind 2001: A Space Odyssey, secretly filmed the whole thing! But this new thing about Buzz Aldrin admitting it? It all started with an interview he did with Conan O’Brien way back in 2000. I’ve rewatched that clip a million times, trying to decipher everything… it’s just… fascinating!
Following Conan O’Brien’s comment about remembering watching the moon landing, Buzz Aldrin responded by telling him that wasn’t possible, explaining there was no television coverage or anyone filming the event at the time.
Reuters fact-checked this claim back in 2022 and found it to be false. Buzz Aldrin was actually talking about the type of media being shown – animation – at the time, meaning Conan likely watched a recreation of the moon landing, not a live broadcast.
Buzz wasn’t just upset with people who doubted him – earlier this year, he also marked the 56th anniversary of the historic event with a touching message.
In a July tweet, he expressed immense pride in finishing the mission, acknowledging the hundreds of thousands of people who contributed to the successful journey to the moon and back. He concluded with a blessing for the USA and all of humanity.

During the 2010s, people noticed Taylor Swift often wore high-waisted pants, which led to some funny online theories – one even claimed she was an alien without a belly button!
Taylor even addressed the reason she kept her navel out of the spotlight.
In a 2014 interview with Lucky magazine, she revealed she intentionally keeps her belly button hidden. She likes the idea of it being a secret, and she’s made a point of never showing it in public. She even hinted she might have a piercing, and joked that if she were to get a large tattoo, it would be near her belly button—a place no one would ever see.
After photos of the singer and her friends in bikinis surfaced from a 2015 vacation, she decided to share her own swimsuit pictures on Instagram.
Taylor recalled that when paparazzi took pictures of her and her friends in bikinis, they decided to take matters into their own hands. She explained on BBC Radio 1 in 2015 that they figured if they took even better photos themselves, the paparazzi wouldn’t profit as much from their initial shots – essentially refusing to let the paparazzi benefit from stalking them.

Avril Lavigne responded to rumors circulating online that she passed away in the early 2000s and was secretly replaced by a look-alike named Melissa. The theory claims Melissa was brought in to cover for Avril at public appearances because the singer was so tired.
Avril Lavigne said on the May 2024 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast that she finds it amusing how people have such different reactions to her appearance. Some people tell her she hasn’t aged at all, while others believe she’s been replaced by a look-alike, sparking a conspiracy theory.

The Grammy-winning singer, who now has three children – daughter Blue Ivy and twins Rumi and Sir – with her husband Jay-Z, famously revealed she was pregnant during a performance at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. However, this announcement sparked rumors that she was using a fake pregnancy belly or had hired a surrogate.
She described the situation as unbelievable, not malicious, in a 2012 interview with People, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. She wondered aloud how such a thing could have even been conceived.
Months ago, some fans noticed Beyoncé’s baby bump seemed smaller on an Australian TV show. She quickly dismissed the claims as untrue, calling them “stupid, ridiculous, and false” through her representative.

The actress responded to comments that her husband, Adam Shulman, bears a striking resemblance to the 16th-century playwright William Shakespeare—who also had a wife named Anne Hathaway. This has led some fans to jokingly suggest Shakespeare has been reborn.
“I’d love for it to be true,” Anne Hathaway said on The Drew Barrymore Show in 2023, “but even if it isn’t, that’s still pretty wonderful.”

The singer of “Last Friday Night,” born in 1984, shared her opinion on a theory that the Colorado woman—born in 1990 and killed in 1996—didn’t die as reported, but instead lived on to become a famous musician.
On a February 2025 Instagram post of the theory, Katy simply commented, “wait am i.”

As a lifestyle advocate, I’ve always admired Stevie Wonder’s incredible spirit. For years, there’s been speculation about whether he can actually see, despite being born prematurely and losing his sight due to a condition affecting premature babies. Well, during a concert in the U.K. last July, he finally put those rumors to rest – confirming he’s unable to see. It was a powerful moment, and a testament to his honesty and resilience.
Stevie addressed rumors about his personal life in a recent fan-recorded video. He explained, ‘The truth is, I was born blind.’
Despite being blind, the Grammy-winning artist believes his condition is actually a gift. He explains that it’s given him a unique way of perceiving the world, allowing him to see beyond appearances and connect with people on a deeper, spiritual level – focusing on who they are as individuals, rather than their physical characteristics.
