The blast from the particle accelerator in The Flash series fundamentally alters everything. Not only does it create The Flash by striking Barry Allen with lightning, but it also sets the stage for numerous other metahumans, some of whom aren’t benevolent. In light of this accident, S.T.A.R. Labs dedicates itself to apprehending these malicious metahumans and aiding Barry in his transformation into the city’s protector. Alongside Barry, Cisco Ramon and Caitlin Snow form friendships, discovering they all share an enthusiasm for science. Their superior, Harrison Wells, also develops a fondness for Barry and assists him in understanding his abilities better.
Indeed, it’s revealed that Wells is actually the time-traveling villain known as Reverse-Flash, trapped in the present and using Barry for his personal gain. In Season 1, The Flash manages to defeat this adversary, but that doesn’t mark the end of Wells. Instead, variations of the character emerge throughout every season of The CW series, with some leaving a more lasting impression than others.
16) Mime Harrison Wells
In my exploration for a fresh iteration of Wells, Team Flash hosts an intriguing tryout session. Mimes from various realms of the multiverse join in, vying for the role. Among them is Mime Harrison Wells, who, being a mime, communicates more with gestures than words. Due to his mysterious nature and unwillingness to disclose personal details, he finds himself listed last among the contenders.
15) Steampunk Harrison Wells
At the public audition event, Steampunk-styled Harrison Wells appears but fails to leave a lasting impact. His distinctive attire, which includes goggles, intrigues more than the Mime version of Harrison Wells. The goggles hint at the unique world he originates from. However, Team Flash doesn’t get to know him well enough, leaving his past shrouded in enigma.
14) Hells Wells
The ultimate choice for the rat-throwing role on Team Flash is none other than “Cowboy Wells,” a grittier version of the character. His intriguing backstory hints at an appealing origin, but he remains tight-lipped about it with his teammates. Despite coming off as rude, Cowboy Wells’ bold demeanor adds an edge that sets him apart from other team members.
13) Harrison Wolfgang Wells
In Season 4 of “The Flash,” The Thinker consistently causes Barry all sorts of problems. To unmask this season’s villain, Team Flash assembles the Council of Wells, comprising Harrison Wolfgang Wells. He believes himself superior to everyone else, making it quite a challenge to get him on board. However, he occasionally proves useful, which is why he isn’t ranked lower on our list of allies.
12) Wells the Grey
When the Governing Body of Wells assembles, it’s none other than the enigmatic figure, Wells the Grey, who makes an appearance. The rest of the group isn’t particularly fond of him, and they decide to dismiss him from their midst. However, Wells the Grey harbors immense potential, a fact that sadly goes unnoticed by Team Flash.
11) Wells 2.0
Among all Wells, none can boast a more captivating origin story than Wells 2.0. After his planet is overrun by warlords, he transforms into a cybernetic organism to endure and there’s speculation that he may have consumed an Earth analogue of Cisco Ramon. His fearsome visage lends an air of menace to the Council of Wells, making them seem more formidable than they truly are.
10) H.P. Wells
In contrast to the harsh and strategic Council of Wells, the Council of Harrisons stands out as compassionate and empathetic. Among its members is H.P. Wells, who assists Harry Wells in regaining his strength. He makes an emotional impact on Team Flash by reciting a heartfelt poem about bread that brings tears to their eyes.
9) H. Lothario Wells
In a turn of events, H. Lothario Wells, who was considered unsuitable for the Council of Wells, instead becomes a part of the Council of Harrisons. With his arrival, Team Flash begins to explore and strengthen their emotional dimensions more profoundly. His hair exudes an undeniable air of coolness, and he isn’t shy about voicing his desires in life.
8) Sonny Wells
Sonny Wells, the last member of the Harrison Council, stands out with his tracksuit and sunglasses that catch everyone’s attention. His personal motto, “Be kind, rewind,” aligns perfectly with Team Flash’s values. Among all the members of the Harrison Council, Sonny Wells is the one who delivers the most honest truths, making him indispensable to Harry Wells and the entire Team Flash.
7) Harrison Orson Wells
Barry encounters a tough situation following “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” The Speed Force is weakening him, thus stripping him of his powers. However, Harrison Oswald Wells explains to Harrison Nash Wells that in order to grant The Flash his speed, he must make a self-sacrifice. This isn’t easy information to share, but the Orwellian Wells remains unyielding.
6) Harrison Sherloque Wells
At Harrison “Sherloque” Wells’ behest, as suggested by my esteemed colleague Harrison Wolfgang Wells, I found myself collaborating with this enigmatic figure in an attempt to resolve Team Flash’s Cicada predicament. Upon diving into the intricacies of their case, I unveiled a shocking revelation: Nora West-Allen had been secretly working hand-in-glove with the Reverse-Flash.
Although Team Flash wasn’t thrilled about the potential complications, it was clear that Sherloque was on the money with this startling disclosure. The truth is a powerful weapon, and in this instance, it served as an instrumental tool for unraveling the complex web of mysteries surrounding Cicada.
5) Harrison Wells
On Earth-1, I was a thriving scientist named Harrison Wells prior to Eobard Thawne’s arrival, who unfortunately took over my life. Even though I perished before the start of The Flash‘s chronicles, the original me found a way back after the multiverse was reborn. As part of Team Flash, I offered guidance that Barry Allen had been yearning for. Once my duties were fulfilled, I time-jumped back to be with my beloved fiancée in the past.
4) Harrison Nash Wells
Harrison Nash Wells’ time on The Flash gets off to a rocky start as he unwittingly facilitates “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” Deceived by the Anti-Monitor, he is branded as “Pariah.” However, Nash atones for his errors, ultimately sacrificing himself to energize the artificial Speed Force.
3) Eobard Thawne
Although Eobard Thawne isn’t a Wells, he stands out as one of the stronger portrayals of the character. His chilly disposition suggests there’s a depth to him beyond initial impressions, yet he consistently makes efforts to aid Barry. However, once Barry betrays him, Thawne persistently tries to sabotage his adversary’s life.
2) H.R. Wells
Similar to Nash, HR Wells didn’t start off with a strong career debut. He deceived Team Flash about his reasons for being on Earth-1, but eventually won their trust and became an essential member of the team. Remarkably, HR even made the ultimate sacrifice by standing in for Iris West when Savitar intended to kill her.
1) Harry Wells
Harry Wells, hailing from Earth-2, surpasses all others in excellence. He teams up with Team Flash to combat Zoom, even though Zoom had taken his daughter hostage. Remarkably, once the danger subsides, he continues to rejoin his comrades on Earth-1 to lend a hand whenever they face difficulties. Although Harry can be a bit rough, he’s undeniably the top Wells in the multiverse.
The Flash is streaming on Netflix.
