This November, Audible will release a new series of Harry Potter audiobooks, starting with “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.”
The complete Harry Potter audiobook, featuring a full cast of actors, was announced last year and is now becoming a reality with a fantastic lineup of well-known TV and movie stars.
The cast features Hugh Laurie, a beloved comedian, playing Albus Dumbledore, alongside Matthew Macfadyen from Succession as Lord Voldemort, and Michelle Gomez, known for Doctor Who, as Professor McGonagall.
The actors were finalized in early 2025, and filming finished after logging over 2,000 hours of recording time to produce these full and complete versions.
The first audiobook will be released on November 4th, and a new one will be available every month after that.
