ARC Raiders features various quests that reward players with extra loot. Alongside the usual scavenging and escaping, you’ll find a unique set of challenges. While most objectives are straightforward, some can be a bit tricky. The game’s difficulty can make exploration tough, and that’s especially true for quests like ‘Digging Up Dirt,’ which became harder after a recent update to the Santa Maria Houses windows. Don’t worry, though – this guide will show you exactly where to find the dead drop location. Let’s dive in!
Digging Up Dirt Quest Guide
In ARC Raiders, the ‘Digging Up Dirt’ quest, given by Celeste, has just two objectives. You can finish both of them in a single playthrough at the Buried City map.
- Locate the Santa Maria Houses in Old Town
- Locate the Dead Drop inside the courtyard
Completing this quest gives you the following rewards:
- 2x Advanced Electrical Components
- 4x Speaker Component.
Objective 1: Locate The Santa Maria Houses
First, make your way to the Santa Maria Houses. You can find them on the Buried City map.
The main challenge now is getting inside. It used to be simple – you could just open a window from the outside. But the creators have fixed that, so you can’t get in that way anymore.
Instead, head up to the roof. Follow the path shown in the video to get there. Once on the roof, you’ll see an open hatch you can jump through.
Objective 2: Locate The Dead Drop
Once you’re inside through the roof, you’ll see a zipline. Use it to descend, but watch out for an ARC Turret and Fireball – you’ll need to defeat them first. After taking them out, head towards the center of the building.
You’ll find a courtyard where you can jump down. In the center, interact with the fountain that’s partially buried to collect the dead drop. This will finish the final objective and complete the Digging Up Dirt quest in ARC Raiders.
If you’re not sure how to leave, simply interact with the window nearby – it will take you outside.
